@bold monolith I tried making a new save and building the partitions in the large room, but again on one of the corners, two partitions piece refused to construct.
I filled all the other walls up and made a screenshot through the glass roof looking down at the corner with the two missing walls.
sadly, I cant find the screenshot and the advice I received for locating the screenshot folder turned up dead ends.
the problem - there are two sections of partitions in the Large Room that will not construct in one of corners.
Ive tried it in my old save and in the new save. no joy. spot will not allow building partition walls, even though its empty and nothing else is there in that spot when I try.
please look into it. I am playing on PC and on Epic games store. not sure if that matters.

They needed a way to link the second game to the first other than them being on the same planet. Also the Kharaa was a major thing that happened to 4546B so it'd be weird not to see evidence or hints about it. It also gave Margeruit a reason to be in the story and it gave an explanation to Sam's death.
The frozen leviathan isn't just in the game to act as a thing you cure and thats it. It was a good way to link the previous game to Below Zero, a way to include Margeruit, a good reason as to why Sam died and it links to Al-An's backstory. All with just one frozen creature.

i played 45h in BZ - and encountered 0 gamebreaking bugs, for real. only thing that was not ok was items falling through the snow.
so i was expecting game to be pretty stable - especially on last stage of EA

I'm going to cry. I just lost over 10 hours of a save, to a game and computer crash. I found a bug with the world (I clipped through the ground) and I logged out of it and it crashed the computer and got rid of my save. I guess I can look at it for the good side of it I can redo the mistakes that I did. I hope it doesn't do that again.

Its also a bit different compared to regular Subnautica (certain biomes in bz feel cramped to me) and such, but its a really fun game and I still suggest giving it a play
