so. pretty broken

VERY likely its a ryzen first gen specific bug @bold monolith i had something similar but significantly more severe haopen in original subnautica with my prawn suit i think it was. except my entire game broke for weeks i had to change audio drivers to fix it. very nonsensical solution to an equally illogical problem

I would argue this being that bad honestly, it's not like there are hundreds of towers standing around. But yes there's always room for improvement, and the developers also did that. A lot of people couldn't find ||Marg her base|| as an example, so they added a waypoint. Although not really my favourite solution, but oh well.

already reported this bug, found a fool proof way of recreating it. happens when you build another door on the same wall only partially and remove it again. that's at least what caused mine to act up

honestly, large subs don't fit in the game as well as smaller vehicles do

the cyclops is more fun to use i agree, and you can build in it yes, but the seatruck is much more practical

it now requires that you have a base to do most things as opposed to just using a cyclops as a base

In the original game, once you got a cyclops all you needed a stationary base for was moonpool upgrades and charging cyclops power cells (which would also be pointless if you got the heat charging)

and an aquarium if you want to breed fish and/or hatch eggs

my base is past the purple vents entrance, about 500 meters into the cave in a large opening

previously I had my base right at the entrance but I found i couldn't expand much there

1. they won't attack an unattended seatruck
2. they won't attack a seatruck if you're in it but not seated in the cabin (eg in a module)
3. they won't attack you or the module if you're chilling in it without the sea truck cabin
4. they will attack an unattended prawn suit

they also won't attack the prawn suit if its docked to the seatruck docking module, regardless if it's attended or not

I don't really understand why it does that, when actually boosting it's normal, but just falling is a bit weird. If they want movement while falling to be limited, it should end when your out.
Then again it would recharge and you would start moving again.
