I like it as a mix between a seamoth and a cyclops. It being modular is nice.

It's not as graceful as the seamoth but I guess that comes with being a bit bigger, and the fact that it's a cube.

I think the defence system for the Seatruck makes the game waaaaaaay to easy. I do not fear the Leviathans at all. You can get rid of them with just a button push.

The shadows are difficult to avoid where they are, it's difficult to balance.

#

A nerf would need the reintroduction of the stasis rifle, both are a little too much.

I think all you need are hiding spots in the crystal cave. so you dash from hiding spot to hiding spot, always on the watch for the shadow leviathan.

I agree but they're just pain without. One way to balance it would be to release the grab when the upgrade is fully charged only.

I think the shadow leviathan in the upper crystal caves is a step in the right direction

#

It's constantly patrolling the entire area so you constantly need to watch out to make sure it doesn't get to you

#

And you can use the crystals as cover for that

#

I want subnautica hard mode that makes leviathans kill vehicles in 2 attacks, instakill the player every single time if they're not in a vehicle and have a much bigger aggro range

#

You can come close enough to the chelicerate to see its colours clearly in the murky waters and still not have it aggro you

I mean I think that's what the reaper should've been in sn1 and then just have less of them

Like its databank entry reads that it has a sonar-like ability and if you can hear it the reaper can see you

What I think would've been cool is that if you hear the reaper and you stay in range for too long it would come after you

Have fun in your playthrough and a personal tipp, dont rush the story and go to every ping instantly, you can for the first time but I would not go everywhere immediatly, maybe stop and take your time to explore once you got a base down, before it doenst really matter, just how I like it more ^^

Still is great, and knowing the basics with titanium can also just be helpfull, it still is magical seeing all the new biomes! I only played very early and now started after seaworthy update and seeing new things after such a long time after original Subnautica is just sick

I would really like it too, just feels more reliable than some sketchy maps... I only needed one for arctic spires pretty much cause you cant just swim over it and take a look, and the blizzards appearing every 2 minutes make it impossible to make a map in my brain kind of lmao

They added a way to make a marker in the seaworthy patch. You have to find 1-2 artifacts and then the PDA will say "analysing alien data, with this you should be able to find the source of the emergency transmission" then the twisty bridges marker will appear.

I already earlier this day discovered a pda entry which was in the databank page AND on the mercury II page was not there and a Wiki keeper responded to me saying it was removed with sea worthy update, he found it in the acctual change log files from OCTOBRE so its not up to date as its in early acces, I am fine with that but cant really trust it, I spent nearly an hour searching for 1 frkn pda on mercury bow...
