Figured out saves... If anything in the entire SavedGames folder is 'touched' such that it changes a timestamp then it noworky nomore. May be a slight exaggeration, but I do know that if anything in any of the slots or the options folder is, it can have that effect. So, 'save as' the entire SavedGames (or just copy/paste). Later, you can just change names and you are back to where you started. The engine does not seem to care about the date stamps of the parent folder.

So I'm troubleshooting my power network between all my bases and sources of power. Looked up something and saw this:
"The Power Transmitter will not connect to a power source if a direct, unobstructed line cannot be established, though it will connect to other Power Transmitters."
Is "to the power source" the only thing that needs to be unobstructed... or does that mean "the blue line will be there between power transmitters but if it's unobstructed, there will be no power being transmitted"?

@scarlet cliff power transmitters need line of sight. they have a set range. but can be unlimited if daisy chained
best way to transmit power. Fooundation with solar panels. to first transmitter. connect additoonal tramitters till base is reached.
