As of the Seaworthy update that came out yesterday, the entire story is complete. The ending will be unlocked on May 14th when we release the finished game. You shouldn't have to restart your game come then.

sure its limited but it works

you can use swim charge fins to make it not limited

The tether tool / teleportation sea truck module basically lets you teleport back to your seatruck teleportation cabin at any time

It uses ion cubes for fuel however ( the tether tool item), which is a very limited supply - so you can just use swim charge fins to negate that

@tiny forum So obviously you can install the big lockers away from walls if you have the floor space, and wall lockers require walls.
Having said that, if you have to choose between the two locker types to install up against walls, like in the multipurpose room for example, then wall lockers are WAY more space efficient. So if you take one wall in the MP room, you can either stack 4 wall lockers for a total of 4 x 30 = 120 storage slots, OR just 2 big lockers in the same space for a total of 2 x 48 = 96 slots. Plus you can label the wall lockers. There's no comparison.

Control room is pretty useless overall so I don't build that. My point is that the integrity is shown without any control room, after building a structure. It should just be shown even before building stuff so you dont' have to waste time and then resources to fix broken integrity.

subnautica isnt really the most optimized of games, so you'll have to deal with what you have. i can recommend turning vsync off and also closing every single application in the background (except for steam or epic games launcher if ur using that to play), oh and also if you're using a dell laptop or something similar use throttlestop.

@carmine bobcat In my experience, you only lose harvested resources, nothing essential like tools so no big risk there. Also, you can collect the items you've lost if you go back to the place of death.

Do I lose items even if I die close to my seatruck? like 10 meters

Because I didnt notice losing anything out of the 2 times I died which was close to it

Dunno, probably. But you can easily check by looking at the ground where you died.
