lmao i feel for you though i ended up in the deep crystal caverns in my prawn suit because i was trying to get to the last cache before going down there for the fabricator ( and i needed kyanite crystals for the upgrade ) so i was hurriedly getting out and repairing it from the pressure damage every so often

died of starvation & my prawn suit blew up at the bottom of the ocean with its jet pack upgrade and the drill arm

you could death block in subnautica as well... using the ion cubes before even coming to the primary containment facility....

But as I said ||4 large deposits... I half one and a half locker full of them. I played through the story as far as it goes... have any vehicle and tool powered by ion batteries or cells, + build any ion cube related device at least twice or trice and still have half a locker full of ion cubes||

Ion cubes are a limited resource here, just like any other mineral in subnautica and while it appears very rare, it is actually vast in comparison to what it is intended to be used for

Prawn suit can be found in copper mining site. It‘s entrance is in the thermal spires. When u move around the island

Yeah, he is right. Was a mistake. It is called "Koppa".

But as I said: when looking at the island with the communication towaer from the direction of the life-pot: Go around the island in the thermal spires, there somewhere is the entrance at... maybe 100 meter. There are no noteworth dangers except for the lack of oxygen since you need to leave your sea-truck outside @tranquil steppe

electrical lights on the ground and some altera supply boxes will guide you to the entrance. You need to be patient and look carefully but the main entrance isn't hard to find at all

I have no exact numbers on how much damage certain things do to leviathans.

YOu said you killed a squidshark in 8 hits, right ? It has 1000hp /8 =>125dmage per hit.

I mean, of course you can fight leviathans and you are free to do so.
I just wanted to remind you that the prawn suit offers you other capabilities than just fighting leviathans.

I also would find it quite boring when I killed all the leviathans and would have nothing left to look out for when venturing through the landscape, but thats of cours just my opinion

Also: Now that I think about it. The damage decreases the more mass the creature has ? In other words, a leviathan takes far less damage (hp) due to him having much more mass than the vehicle ?

So, when we are only talking about the damage, the creature receives, the only thing that matters are the velocity in the moment of impact and the mass of the vehicle... which actually has only 2 classes... a sea truck or a prawn suit.
