I speculated a lot where to build a base. I finally decided to put it in front of ||the Mercury 2 ship wreck aft section||, so my base actually borders the thermal vents, the lilypat islands and the Thermal spire biome.

For the number you can see there, I basically utilise all forms of energy generation.

It depends on where you build your base. Thermal power and Solar power are the most comfortable sources since once build, you dont need to luck for them. They will continously create power. That is not the same for ||bioreactor and nuclear reactor||. Though they create a lot more energy.

I would do it this way:
If you build your base close to the surface (not deeper than around 120m), you can pretty much handle it with solar panels, though you need quite a few of them.

If you go underground, you have to rely on bio-reactor or bio reactor. You should gather the ressources to build multiple of them. Once you filled them all up, your base can ran run quite a while without you needing to pay attention to the reactors any time soon.

Every leviathan in Sub had something distinct; biomes, design, attacks, story, movement, attached things. But the squidshark? It's just another aggresive animal that doesn't deserve to be big enough for leviathan class, if that's the only reason it belongs there.

Oh God, I just thought of a monster concept so scary I had to minimize the game. It's one that grabs your sub, but doesn't roar and quickly bite it, it just grabs it and slowly turns it towards its jaws. You may be like "my sub is turning, what did I crash against?" for a second and then you see the thing appear in front of you as you turn.
