Bro my only “fix” is to destroy my seatruck and the module that was clipping inside of it (fabricator in my case)

At least i was able to take out my upgrades from my seatruck.

I kinda fixed this

I disconnected the module that wasnt stuck in the seatruck and then i moved it away

I then went out resource gathering. as i was approaching my base the module that was clipped into the seatruck got itself unstuck. Idk how, i assume i got lucky or something.

I took all my upgrades out of my seatruck, took the power cells out, and destroyed it with my prawn

I then deconstructed and rebuilt my seatruck dock for good measure

I put my seatruck and modules back in and it looks like its working just fine again.

I hope this NEVER happens again bc it had me stressing

The thing is that base power sources are used one at a time until it's empty (the energy storage, not empty of fuel for bio- and nuclear reactors). At some point your base power will stabilize and not go down when enough thermal plants are producing power.

Just wait to see where and when your power stabilizes.

When 4th thermal starts to work, your power gain is more than the consumption

If you go look at the thermal plants close by, you can see individual power status of them. Probably 11 of them are 250/250 and only one x/250 and actually generating power

Yeah my storage room has lots of reinforcement cause if you place the storage lockers first you can then convert the walls into reinforced walls while if you'd reinforce them first it wouldn't let you place lockers .A lot of other spots where I don't want windows also already have reinforcements. Got a lot of windows etc but am at 60 stability rn

If I reinforce one of the back rows of each of my aquarium towers where it wouldn't be seen much I can get 140 more stability

And I can also still place bunks around in my base

Ooo that’s a good tip on the lockers.
On my base I built a three story multipurpose room tower. Some of that has reinforcements, but mostly glass windows, that is the most glass I put in for a section (aside from large room having a glass roof). Put in a bathroom, then kitchen and dining above, the bedroom with an observatory coming off the side. Built it by the vent garden by the cliff wall where the leviathan likes to hang around.

Without the afterburner, it's obviously slower, but it's so fast with the upgrade. I think it achieves similar speeds, but I don't know if the off time between bursts of speed bring it down a lot.

Have a bug, maybe someone can help -- my prawn is stuck in Land mode (like, when I jump underwater it does a shallow jump like on land, and when I dock it on the seatruck, the prawn sits) and anytime I exit the prawn, I am in Land mode (expected on land, not underwater). I can "fix" the second issue by using Unstuck, but it's making the prawn a nightmare not worth using. Help?

That was a mistake.

Originally it was meant to be a leviathan, and it stayed that way long enough for the databank to be written with that, but they decided to change it, and it was unreasonable to fix that small bit across all translations of the game.

It’s pretty good, if you like the lore then I definetly reccomend as it adds and expands to it, from what I see the only people who dislike it are just comparing it to the original, which is because the original is so good

I would suggest the west of the lilypads as it is the most commonly used base location with lots of nice scenery and only a few squidsharks nearby. Plus the east is near lots of important areas like tree spires, Mercury II, the purple vents and Delta island. It is also great as see monkeys roam the area which at certain points in the game give you resources for pinned recipes.

||Not hate but it's not the Subnautica game I see fit for the series. Especially after playing the first game.

My first complaint is with the movement speed. The base speed is far slower than in SN1. This doesn't make the small map feel bigger, it makes the game feel like a drag.

My second complaint is with the vehicles. The Prawn suit was nerfed in the way that the booster now drains when moving forward, which I guess you can avoid by not holding the joy-stick like that but it's just annoying. It also feels far weaker than previously. And worst yet, it has these engine sounds for an electric vehicle (I know it's a nitpick but it's valid).
The Seatruck is fine, but not great. It fullfills the role of the Seamoth and the Cyclops but is great at neither. And while it is at least decently good as a Seamoth it doesn't even come close to being a cyclops. Creativity is limited by not being able to freely build inside and modules making the thing slower. It doesn't increase in Width but only in length, which is okay but not fit for BZ's smaller map. It's not a small cyclops, it's a replacement that doesn't live up to my expectation of the main vehicle.
The Snowfox basically isn't even a vehicle, but a sub-vehicle like the Seaglide. It is fine as is (maybe if it could drive on water for a short while or something it'd be even better) but it seriously can't count as a third vehicle. This also makes the Seatruck worse in a way, since there isn't a late game vehicle to add something new.

I also grandly dislike the aspect of voicing and an "assistant". Every time the character that I play tells me what to do I die inside a little. Then there's the fact that the game takes control of your camera sometimes. In Subnautica that happens at the start and end. You can admire Sunbeam, the aurora exploding and such all by yourself. No need to break immersion. I don't have Nitro so I gotta cut this short for now.||

It's a good game but not for me.
