they single-handedly fixed my lead issues for my seatruck videos

then they cant hit you if you attack from above. Dont worry about them, you will meet them in the start, in the twisty bridges biome (you can see the edge of it from your drop pod).

They arent very threatening, unless there are at least 2-3 attacking you

if you get the seaglide (which is around the pod) youll be fine as you outrun them.

Good tip for anyone having trouble with predators from brute sharks to chelicerates (also stalkers to ghost levs in sub 1), just swim to the surface as the predators have a cieling height they cant pass (or at least they dont stay up there).

you can swim in the void without problem if you stay at the surface (I think).

I've just done my first full completion of subnautica despite being a fan of it for years. All the content I had watched on it + the experience I had previously helped out immensely. This is important because I've been considering buying sub-zero but I hardly know anything about that game. So I come to ask if yall think sub-zero is easier to beat without outside knowledge/tools like the wiki/youtube. Subnautica would take soooo much longer if you didn't know anything about the map and I think there was definitely room to improve that to make the player's experience easier without using tools outside the game. I don't want to spoil the story elements or the creatures in sub-zero but idk if I want to take on the game without any outside assistance. What do yall think? Is Sub-Zero easier to play that way?

And btw I'm really just asking about how difficult Sub-Zero is to play without outside help compared to Subnautica. So that I may gauge if I should just take on the game raw or I if I should do some learning along the way

Nah, map would be something someone made and put online. Not in-game thing.

Scanner room (with the hud chip) just marks things on your hud like Limestone outcrops, titanium, fragments, etc
