It's terrible. Everything that was great in the first game was butchered or removed in this one. Except the base building, they expanded on that well. But the leviantians, exploration, vehicles, wildlife (except the friggin penguins and the otter like animals), and the protagonist are terrible in this one. They should of been silent. You can tell it was originally a DLC. Also the PDA voice :(
I hope Subnautica 2 is better cause if it is like this, the Subnautica franchise will die.

Finished it and I liked it, but the og was definitely better. ||The crystal cave leviathans were the only ones that truly felt like an active threat. The sharp nosed snow one lost its charm after the first 2 encounters. Meanwhile you have 3 different leviathan species in the og that all threatened you in their respective biomes. I do however like that the below zero leviathans had very different attack styles and hope they keep that going forward||

But its input rate is 4.16 energy per second.

The control room is not very precise. But if you have +0 that just means they aren't working, their batteries are full.

You can enter a name on the beacon itself and color-code the signal and toggle the visibility on/off in your in-game menu. This is useful because if you're like me, you'll end up having like 20 beacons set up by the end. It's useful to mark hotspots and navigate

Needless to say it took days, farming the titanium and especially because after this many structures, the game starts to struggle and placing a single segment freezes the game up for 30 seconds to a minute 🫠 Can't show it all in one frame, but it stretches ||from island to island, from void to void, and lowers down at certain biomes like the Blood Kelp Zone. You can basically access any part of the map on foot.|| There are signs and corresponding pictures of where each hallway leads at every turn and crossing, as well. Please be creative in telling me I have no life

In one click, you instantly jump from sky-high to the very bottom of the ||Blood Kelp Zone||, kinda neat huh. One heck of a vibe change
