I don't know. The only possible way I could get these was to play in creative mode. If you go out of bounds, you can find some shallow water where Void Chelicerates appear. Sometimes, they glitch and launch a thousand feet into the air.

It's quite rare. I was very lucky to get that picture.

Can you scan the void shrimp? I tried once and couldn’t do it, but maybe it was just moving too fast.

But they move too fast and deal too much damage

I've tried on several occasions.

There's no logbook entry for them, so I wouldnt worry about it.

If you did manage to scan one, you'd just unlock the regular Shrimp logbook file.

Most leviathans are. They launch at you and its very scary, but after the first attack, they are pretty passive until the next.

Shadows are bit trickier to scan though

Not even that. It took him like 30 seconds to finally attack me and I’d already scanned him at that point.
Literally just drove right up to him with my seaglide and pulled out the scanner.

Get grabbed, use drill arm to deal damage, take cover and repair suit very slowly, rinse and repeat

On my frist playthrough of Subnautica 1, I kiled a Ghost Leviathan. It was exhausting. I see no value in killing Leviathans. It's antithetical to what these games are about. Swimming with the tide and not against it.

Though dangerous, Leviathans are a gorgeous part of the world. Killing them is like removing a mountain from Breath of the Wild.

If they aren't, it's pretty much random after each load.

I have an unupgraded seatruck, so I stopped by some jellyfish before entering this really long cave to enter the westward area as the map suggested. Once I got in I decided to walk deeper and got lost in a cave trying to escape a bunch of these wild animals. I ran out of food so I had to go out and luckily I found this small manmade platform with a bunch of crates. How do I go back?!

The one thing that the prawn suit struggled with on land is jump height. Even with the jump jet upgrade, it’s hard to jump up to a ledge.

I did a time check, inactive and active with the rebreather and without while using the ultra high capacity tank.

At rest there's not much a difference, both are about a 2 second margin.

Although when active, the rebreather stays 2 seconds, while without, theres a difference of 0.5 seconds.

Meaning it will last a half second longer, which isnt much compared to the original subnautica variant.

we think of it as from 12 to 20 hours but we never know the truth

the power usage depends aswell you are correct, but we first need to find out how much a regular base uses how much power

before drawing to a conclusion!

regular bases most of the time have battery chargers, fabricators ofc, modded fabricators, and sometimes the radar detection system room

Nuclear reactor produces energy at 250 energy per minute. If your base uses that or more, each rod lasts 80 minutes, so 4 rods last 320 minutes (5 hours 20 minutes) or longer

|| Not going to lie I feel like the entire story of below zero is underrated. I'm not going to say it's perfect because the whole thing with Sam was confusing at times, but the Alan story is peak imo. The fact that we got to find and meet the architect responsible for the entire outbreak in the story of subnautica one is awesome. Even more than all that though is the ending. A human got to go and I love how it's left up to interpretation whether or not the architects survived ||
