Yeah BZ is fun but they made mistakes regarding the story by contantly scraping voice lines and needing new voice actors and having to rewrite the story because Tom (the main story director of subnautica and BZ before he quit) and unknown worlds were disagreeing on how the story should go as unknown worlds wanted to rewrite it to be more intresting and make the characters more likeable but in the final version of BZ that didn't end up happening

if they didn't make those mistakes BZ would of been a different game

I mean the squidshark is scarier for me

but I haven't played much of BZ

so maybe I'll find it more scarier but when I first encounterd him he was just chilling didn't even come to me

It's an interesting question. I guess you want a recipe with several times the resource you want, but also one that doesn't have a lot of different ingredients.

If you want ruby and nickel they have to be in specific biomes but not for the other pinned ingredients.

It doesn't increase the chance. But they indeed stop giving you that ingredient if you have the necessary amount.

DefaultGiftItem is what you get if they aren't in their biomes.

GiftItemByBiome is what you get when they are.

And the pinned recipes it's a 50/50 on pinned items or DefaultGiftItem / GiftItemByBiome.

The main interesting thing about it, is that the root pustules are technically infinite.

Since you can't plant them but it's part of the gifted objects.

For the Seatruck, it'll be very fast like the seamoth if you have 2 modules (3 with an upgrade), and each extra module will slow it a bit down. There's also a speed boost upgrade, that makes it really fast, even with a few modules.

So like a month ago or so I saw an oppinion that biomes in bz are much worse than in base game. And for my current playtrough I haven't explored very much of the game but from what I saw they went into more alien concept like there is a fish with a hole that you can take air from or terrain is less flat beacuse in safe shallows it was mostly ground and in subnauitca bz the starter location have those black coral tentacles.

And one more change that I'm suprised about are the thingies that gives you materials in base game there were 3 types one that gived you Copper and titanium second wich gived you Gold Silver and lead and third that gived you diamonds and lithium. But in bz every type gives you titanium and one of the resources. Like there is one that gives you titanium and copper there is one that gives you titanium and Gold and so on.

Like there is much oxygen plants and I can craft an additional O2 tank but I don't like doing that. So I started to explore and I found something at the surface and there was a mineral Finder thingy but I already had that and when being there I got a signal of a ||delta station||. Well, you can build multiple cabins and have them all powered, and when teleporting to the oldest, you can detach it from the cabin to change where you will be teleported next...still quite limited benefit for having multiple

You basically need to do what I said in the Steam thread but with a little difference as the format of the save file changed a little. First you should go there in creative to check if the base is there.

To understand if it's a save problem or an asset problem.

If the base is there in a new game (you can use warp 1229 -950 -307 after starting it), then you need to go in your Steam directory, SNAppData/SavedGames/slot00xx/CellsCache, open baked-batch-cells-21-grp0.zip and remove baked-batch-cells-21-13-10.bin.

Note that you want the game launched on the main menu when you do that.

I don't know how the Steam Deck works, if you can't open the zip file just remove the baked-batch-cells-21-grp0.zip completely.

And it's 21 not 20.

The water void is a biome just like the void in Subnautica, but contrary to the former, it isn't all around the playable area.

It isn't exactly “nothing” depending on where you are, with how the biome map is calculated. But it still gives you an idea.

You should see the water void as its own biome.

If you're in the thundra void, there will be no void chelicerate.

||ok so the lily pads look cool BUT they are really far away from your important story location´s so it isn´t the best
so the twisty bridges are a good pick for a base you can´t ever go wrong with twisty bridges but it doesn´t look interesting so
the purple vents, they are my favorite spot for a base since you´ve got some heat vents so you can use thermal power and it looks pretty cool BUT there is a aggressive leviathan that wants to eat you so i wouldn't recommend it for you

but what i would recommend is thermal spires, there isn't much danger there, it looks kind of cool with all the vents and its close to kind of everything

hm: delta island, it looks not so cool in my opinion and its kind of hard to build there||
