It uses ion cubes, ||takes 3 charges. Afterwards it’s destroys the cube. Since you have a limited number, you need to craft something using the ion cube, then de craft it with the recycltron to get a full charged ion cube back||

Honestly, it’s really hard to say for me. While below zeros story and overall size was smaller than the first game, I feel like the actual biomes and gameplay itself is wayyyy better than sub1. You can craft water from bladderfish, you can find the stillsuit blueprint or the water filtration machine. Also some foods have high percentage of water. Also you find quite some water bottles in caches and boxes. But that will run out eventually.

If you go to explore phi robotics area, you can get blueprints for water purification tablets and start making large filtered water bottles (without the water filtration machine)

Go out at night from your drop pod, catch 10 bladderfish and turn them into 10 water bottles, repeat as needed. Thats how we all play the game until we find the still suit and the filtration machine.

So you become a better player and keep her save from harm. Some of them are also scripted. Whenever you leave phi robotics, there is an icycle falling down and she makes that sound. Some other places too. Let her do it, its a tough environment.

How do yall think maida survived the khaara? I watched a video on where someone infected everything in the game and only the leviathans weren't affected (ik they don't have infected counterparts but that's pretty strange because other creatures have infected counterparts, possibly every other leviathan has enzyme42 in their system and so they get infected? Maida did eat a reaper so.. I might be wrong because i only watch videos of subnautica)

Leviathans are infected too, they just don't show the severe symptoms in-game.

Enzyme Host Peepers don't grant immunity or cure, they just lower the effects, and put the disease in a dormant state.
