There’s a place right where you get into the water where you can grab 6 copper, but it’s in a little bitty cave that has a ore vein you grab 6 copper nuggets from (really shallow though)
Later on in twisty bridges (bordering on the deep part) near where you find (story spoiler) ||Sanctuary Zero/the sos signal|| there’s a cave system full of resources including copper nuggets in some ore veins along the walls, several bunches of table coral, outcrops that give gold and silver as well, and a few crashfish nests if you want sulfur. There’s oxygen plants inside too

If you crash your vehicle to your base, the base can flood regardless of integrity. Or in the first game for example tiger plants hitting the base (when missing their target) the base will flood regardless of integrity

I just built the seatruck dock for the first time this playthrough
It does suck you can’t have the prawn docked and use it
I guess it makes sense from proportions why it can’t go in, but it does make a significant impact in reducing the utility of the dock if you intend to carry the prawn around much😔
And you still need to craft a moonpool and VUC to change the prawn color scheme. You can then dismantle after, but the moonpool isn’t completely obsolete apparently in this one sense
At least I don’t see any other way around not using it, to recolor the prawn suit

That. If you have seatruck with modules, it’ll undock your modules and only the cabin is docked in the moonpool
That was how you used to paint your seatruck prior to them adding the seatruck dock in an update
Then when you docked your modules again, they magically added the paint palette to the rest of the modules same as the cabin had😂
