yeah that.. i only know the true way around the game exploration but if you have all depth modules and such. ||to find how to build his body go into the crystal caverns where the shadow leviathan is held and travel in a north east/ east direction till you make it to a red crystal like area. from there look for the Fabricator base in those directions. inside that facility you will be able to build his body||

On an unrelated note, I’m one of those people. I absolutely love Maida and believe she did nothing wrong, outside of getting a little too bloodlusty towards the end of her story. Then again I’d feel the same way if I were her.

She's careless and impulsive, she doesn't think things through like Bart. She's also arrogant and overly proud of herself, bringing the Reaper was not only unnecessary, it was also detrimental to their survival. She has this superiority complex that makes her think it's justified to leave the rest of the crew to die because she has a better chance of survival anyway. ||I don't think her giving her unstable explosives to Sam, and blowing up a nuclear reactor with no care for who's inside is something I would ever forgive. She's very anarchist, it makes it seem like she only joined Sam because she's against the authority. She doesn't seem to care about the possibility of Alterra developing a bio-weapon - which was only an assumption, a theory with no proof||

Paul and Maida were very alike in the sense that both wanted to be in charge, despite being unqualified to do so. Bart was the glue sticking them together, trying to reach a common ground. Bart was going to do what Ryley did, if he had not been sabotaged by a certain bounty hunter trying to show off her survival skills.

You are right about one thing though. The killing of the Reaper was a careless act of bloodlust which one way or another lead to her (initially implied to be) demise. Her anger might have been what drove her that far to begin with, but it was also her downfall. Still mad respect for what she did pull off though.

I play via Steam, and the achievements of warm suit and exiting the planet, are blocked, no matter how I try.. starting a new save (really tired of it), downloading other savegame, modding and using command promts, can't unlock this two and those are the last two for completition. Any idea what's happening?

can i please have a bit of help with this part of the game? i just ||fixed the bridge in the glacial bay (with hydraulic fluid) and got this message from al-an: "i am sensing interesting patterns to the north east. it would be worth investigating. but be careful". earlier in the game, al-an also alluded to there being a body component being in an area with a "stark surface landscape. dangerously cold. curved spires stretch to the sky".|| i've gone ||northeast and have been periodically harassed by a burrowing ice leviathan of sorts (i assume this is what al-an warned me about), but i havent found anything of note or gotten any new messages. i've also wandered around (mostly in circles) and im really stuck on what to do.|| could i please have a small spoiler-free hint as to what i need to do or where i need to go?

You do need to head northeast after going across the bridge, although there are more than one areas of interest across the bridge. You will find an area with huge spikes pointed skyward, which is plagued by the ice worms which are attracted to vibration. Before you crossed the bridge, there was another area on land hopefully you explored. But the land area all around there, especially once you cross the bridge, can be very confusing because there’s not a lot of distinguishing landmarks. Just keep exploring unless you really can’t find your way. Unfortunately Al-An is very sparing with tips, and you’re sort of on your own so stay warm

Just a little tip if you want it, those snow stalkers can be pretty aggressive. You’ll need to collect fur. Don’t kill the stalkers they don’t drop fur that way.
||Flares keep snow stalker adults from mauling you, but they do eventually run out so maybe keep a few on hand when exploring the surface. Also you’ll want the spy pengling bot if you can craft it, helps collect the fur. Some caves have a few pieces lying around inside though which doesn’t require the pengling bot to collect||

This fur will be for the ||cold suit||

I’m surprised you didn’t just take a prawn up there and bypass the bridge with the grappling hook. That’s what I ended up doing. Mind you completely on accident. Those suits are just fun as heck to zip around in!

though, it does kinda render the snowfox obsolete so frankly you can pick your poison. I would recommend playing the game as intended because as much as I did have fun bypassing the game with a simple mechanic. It did ruin that section for me since all tension was lost inside the prawn.

She has a habitat, but she had no habitat builder. Maybe she stole it from Alterra? But her base is in worse condition than the abandoned bases left behind. She doesn't have a fabricator, so she can't fabricate anything.

You could add a glass roof and a juke box, there's also that purple thingy that sprays out something, you could but that on the desk. also you could replace some of the posters with a shelf and put some of those small glass containers on it. And if you play with cheats enabled, you could put some water bottles and salads on the desk maybe some tool or something you like on the bed frame (you can do this by going outside of the base, and flying inside with the console, but note that that the items you drop this way, will have wierd lighting especially at night)
