I loved the Cyclops, but I'd hate to pilot it in this map. Biomes aren't as tall, which was one of the things that I didn't really like about SN - the biomes were extremely tall to make the map deeper, the same way many fish were eels to make them longer. BZ map is gorgeous, and the creatures are beautiful

Welcome to the vine forest, the first nonstarterbiome of the game your player tends to walk into has no stalkers but a cute monkey that does nothing? I got my mobile vehicle bay and sea truck without any danger. Oxygen plants? Everywhere... I entered a Merc Wreckage and the biggest challenge was dying.

Don’t take any other beacons, they are useful as points of reference for directions. The emergency supply one isn’t that important.

And when you can, make a compass. Very useful to know where you’re going.

An alien containment in a multipurpose room has space for 10 slots worth of creatures to appear through breeding, and one in a large room has 18. Each containment unit in a stack increases the number by a similar amount.
