advanced wiring kits are a pain
I need 1 more silver, and i broke 2 outcrops that can give silver and i got titanium from both
FINALLY
Where is the best place for silver tho ?
the black biome around delta. name is thermal spires
||Delta station dock?||
delta is the island, because of the base on top
Oh ok
Any dangerous fauna there, should i take my new sea truck?
the black crocs (cryptosuchus) are loud but not that bad. Die from 2 truck bumps too
take the truck everywhere. Upgrade depth on it soon
it can upgrade to go Anywhere
What is this help
yes that's a croc
Oh
Should i try and kill 1 by bumping it?
I didn't even check out 1 artifact now i have to check out 2 of em
What do i do after i find the organs and bones?
Have you seen an alterra bridge?
Ye
repair it, then cross
not sure if this should be here or not
Got all the bodypart blueprinrs, where do i craft them
Deepest spot ingame
more:|| 960m. East end of crystal caves there's a different cave||
How deep? The deepst i found was 800 meters
Huh ok
Drop pod didn't deploy
What why does it spoiler it
I think you’re missing something more important in that image…
I just spent 20 minutes tryna get the modfication station then i finally realized i already have it
What does the thermos do i just crafted it and can't do anything w it
Also can sea monkeys give you diamonds?
I think they give you diamonds, if you have them in one of your pinned recipes. I think the thermos can hold beverages like coffee, which presumably warms you up and gives you water.
Ohhhhh
get a coffee machine then put the thermos in there for coffee
So coffee machines actually have a use in bz?
What about thirst?
idk i havent played below zero in awhile
Yup a sea monkey just gave me a diamond
Cool
Why do they give me creepvine samples tho?
For food ?
i guess
So i made a coffee machind how does it produce coffee? @lucid gate
you put the thermos in it
Oh
did you do it?
Yes but it didn't fill so i took it out but ima put it back
It doesn't give me h2o instead it takes it away 💀
Deconstruct time
oh 💀
Thermos is one option to stay warm when exploring dry land
Which do you prefer: blue trivalve or gold?
I only got one, a blue one. It was cute, though.
Can you get hit by the meteor shower in the intro?
As far as I know, you can’t. I’ve had things hit a few feet in front of me though. Scary.
gotta admit below zero had better enviroments for unerground areas at least thats what i though ttill i found the alterante lava route in subnautica and completly changed my mind and said orginal is best
The deep twisty bridges is one of my favorites.
They give you items related to your pinned items.
But sometimes random ones as well.
They are suddenly one of my favorite creatures in the franchise
wait wait wait, the little buggers are afraid of flares???
I guess so
I’ve never tried a flare around one personally
Says they can steal if just lying around or whatever (unlit)
Yeah. Pretty good if you literally just started your world or after you|| transfered Al-An.||
The wiki is wrong.
The default list is what they'll give you when they are not in their natural habitat. It's only quartz, copper and titanium.
They have a second list for when they are in specific biomes.
And a third for pinned ingredients, with a specific filter on biomes for ruby and nickel.
For instance, and that's where the confusion comes from, if they are in Arctic Kelp they'll give you quartz, copper, titanium, creepvine seed and sample. But if you find them inside the cave the list changes and it becomes quartz, copper, titanium, gold and silver.
Oh sorry typo
Can sea monkeys give you items like kyanite or nickel ore?
Kyanite no, nickel yes if they are in Lilypads when pinned, Lilypads Crevices when it is not.
I wish
What is a "Spiral plant clipping" tho I need it and im sure i saw it but i didn't scan it cuz i thought it wouldn't help me with anything
You can find them in Ventgardens.
Can u send a pic of what a vent garden is
I dont wanna go in the wiki and get spoilered
Oh so like the reefbacks of bz
Which biome are they located in 🙂
Hmmm never went in this biome
You can also find it in the purple fire area, in the deeper caves
It's very important
I wanna finish below zero but i don't where the fabricator caverns are
I know they are in a crystal cave
But in which crystal cave
direction: ||east, down||
Ok
Thank you fyi
Restarting?
it is posted on streams and videos
i went and beated up a shadow leviathan
Yeah, it's some sort of backup signal in case the first doesn't trigger. Fairly common.
Sadly there isn't any logic to test that there isn't already such a beacon listed, or else that logic is broken.
actually a small bug. normal
Since you can't finish the game without getting there, I understand them wanting to make sure you know about it.
they never stole from me and once they started to do this i for some reason used them for items instead of looking around (i stopped doing this and beat the game)
They steal whenever you don’t have ||Al-an||, so before you have your noggin buddy and they revert to stealing after you no longer have him as well
the reason they never stole from me was because i never approached them (i played for months without actually doing the story progrses so yea)
although I just put away my held tool when I see one getting close, so yeah you can take steps to limit chances of them taking anything from you
Floating juvenile ventgarden
so not the adult one
that wont kill me right
mb i didnt wanna get close lmao
It's harmless.
On my first run, I managed to scan every single fish. I'd just run up to every creature with a scanner, and then cry if they did too much damage
If you stand still, the crashfish doesn't leave the sulfur plant. I managed to scan it that way
Have you finished BZ Andy or are you just starting?
im js starting
i finished the first game on the 12th of sept and i think i started bz on the 13th, but w school n everything i havent really played it
and im home tdy so i thought id try to progress 💀
I really like how I didn't have to look for outside help or anything to beat the game, just like the first
I found plenty in labs and sea monkey nests
Mercury 2 wrecks, but before that, yeah sea monkey nests in kelp forests
tyty
My new favorite item: the Thumper. It's a thumper used for thumping things. I love that the description. Also the toilet description
it runs so laggy tho, i think thats my only thing rn
but my pc should be here at the end of the week
these right?
That’s a sea monkey nest
Andy, on a scale of 1 through 10, how would you rate the toilet in BZ?
How about cooked nootfish and cured nootfish descriptions?
Where do I find Magnetite?
My search for it had me manage to wander all the way to the Crystal Caves
deep lilypads is easiest. Or in pengling caves
The safest spot in my opinion is phi robotics behind the destruction
Jesus the wiki wasn't kidding when it said the aggro radius on Shadow Leviathans was high
The new logo looks so nice
That thing had spotted me before it was even in my render distance
The corners of my large room are empty, what should I put in them?
pinball machine. No, there isn't one
Made it to the Deep Lilypads and oh god the Mesmers got bigger
I love the lilypad biome
Absolutely hated them. They were noot funny at all
57
Wandered around for like 20 minutes and only found 2 Magnetite
But you know what, it's enough
Gonna get the Scanner Room HUD chip
Then come back later and set up an outpost for a more in-depth search
this game is beautiful tbh
Should i make outposts bc i saw lots of ppl do it but i only got 1 main base and that's it
if ive already been here should they disappear? because i just turned off their location
Subnautica better
gameplay wise, i prefer subnautica (so far) but the scenery in bz is unmatched imo
I only like Subnautica cuz of the seamoth, bz is an L cuz they decided to let the ||prawn suit|| in this game instead of the seamoth
They ‘should’ disappear once you reach that location, I think you actually need to be within a few meters of wherever that beacon is. But the ||Pilot|| one is a great market to have turned on to help you navigate later.
um!
yeah, ive been to both im p sure, but i know ive been to the ||pilot|| one quite a few times
Same.
after the ||greenhouse||, am i able to get to the back room of ||marguerits base?||
You should be, I think.
yes!
Some interesting scannables there, nothing necessary though.
The beacon doesn’t go away but the exclamation mark (!) should go away for places you haven’t visited, like architect locations iirc
errrrrrmmm
Instant BBQ
So
Smaller fish reproduce automatically in aquariums, right
Or is that specifically in Alien Containment Units
Can only have breeding occur in containment
it finally loaded lmao
Rip
Was trying to farm Bladderfish cuz I was tired of going out and catching them for water lol
Once you get the water filtration machine that won’t be an issue.
Hello
Does anyone know where I can find more sleeper modules? I found only one in the lily pad islands biome
They’re in an area in the purple vents section right around where the cheli patrols
The aquarium is in lilypads
Sighh yayy big red here I come
thats a visual bug, it can't harm you. it's very friendly
Any time I can’t find what I’m looking for I build a scanner room.
of course! 🥰🥰
For my second game, I'm not eating fish. I'm also trying not to hurt anything, even when they try to kill me.
You hurt things?? How evil
in a custom game, you can turn off fish eating, and even creature aggression. You can convert your game to custom also. Options
Yeah, that's what I'm doing. Thanks, though. I don't mind creatures trying to eat me, I just won't slice a cryptosuchus with a survival knife if it attacks me.
Poor cryptocurrency :(
Somehow, they're almost cute.
They loud tho
That's actually good. They can't sneak up on you, that way.
is there an option to disable eating uncooked food? Misclicked a fish once, haunts me till today.
but no cooked fish then?
I think not. There's no way to only eat cooked fish.
Where can I find Marg's first log?
Read the second and third ones to find out how she made it here, and good god
But there's something I'm missing
There were at least three very big very blue obstacles between there and here
not sure where 1 is, but one is on her power plant, near home in a cave. Southwest? dunno. One is in her bedroom
Noted, thank
Can't believe they made such a big deal outta temperature and then didn't give us an equippable thermometer
No I mean I wanna be able to check the temperature like I can in a vehicle
It’s the future, they simplified the temp scale for you. None of that Fahrenheit or Celsius nonsense.
Currently based on the Delta HQ Island
And I was wondering if I could grow warm-climate plants like Lantern Fruits and Chinese Potatoes outside in the heated caves around the place
Checked with my Prawn and no, doesn't appear so
For a while i though subnautica was dead but it seems like it isnt
Speaking of which I love how this series is all about the water but in both games it's entirely viable to build your base on land
True. Variety is good.
I've never built a land base, but I'd like to change that.
There are some great spots that offer some interesting options.
I usually make a land base that has a vertical connector that leads to an underwater part of the base for vehicle docking and such.
^
That seems like a great plan.
I was thinking of building on the arctic side of the Glacial Connection.
Could be interesting. The two spots I’ve done were up on an iceberg west of Delta, and one on Delta itself. The Delta one I don’t have any screenshots handy and it’s on my PlayStation so can’t easily get to that right now.
I could post some of mine later
It's a bit due for an expansion but it's serving me pretty well thus far
I’ve built at that location a few times, some small variations each time. You can only build a certain number of levels above water or land in BZ, it changed from SN.
Oh jesus
Ok we're talking creative mode lol
In that case you considered building up on the ice shelf along the void?
There's no invisible wall or anything keeping you from getting up there if you approach from the south
And once you're up you got all the space you could ever dream of and zero security concerns
What could you even need that many Large Rooms for
Alien Containments. Breeding lots of critters. Mainly Penglings, love those guys.
Makes sense ye
Plus it just looks cool…. 😎
It does indeed
Slightly different iceberg base.
That's amazing! I have never seen so many large rooms together.
Great flat area out back for lots of Penglings to play.
Is it getting struck by lightning?
But yeah, getting up on the ice shelf in the north east is entirely doable in survival
A bit tedious and it requires a lot of resources but it can be done
Yup! I saw a storm was coming and was just hoping to get lightning in the area for a pic, got lucky with that shot.
I actually had to build a vertical tower a bit away on another piece of ice to get that shot. I can never remember how to move the camera in survival mode. 🤦♂️
It seems a bit far from everything, but it's very cool.
Many folks build in inconvenient locations. But it’s fun…. I’ll spend many days doing a base, trying things, gathering resources, moving things around.
Will need to try a new run soon with another good base somewhere. Need to think of another spot.
I’ve been doing speedruns the last few weeks, that’s been fun.
Believe me, I know. I'm building in the Deep Twisty Bridges.
Haven’t built there yet. May do some thinking on that.
I'm not so deep that I could run into the ||squidshark||, but there are plenty of brute sharks around. I'm at somewhere around 180 meters deep.
I’d need room to get my seatruck in and out. May have to dock it up higher from the main base.
I usually have 6 modules attached…
There are actually some pretty big open spaces between the rocks and coral bridges.
I often have quite a few, too.
Can I ask what modules you use?
I usually don’t use more than Fab, Storage, Storage, Docking.
You too jimbo
Once I've got all the scans, I usually have a fabricator, a storage, and docking. I build the sleeper and aquarium modules, too.
1 fab, 4 storage, and the docking module.
You have four storage? That's something to consider...
You saw the pics of my base? I go through a lot of titanium and glass. LoL
I believe it... I do too.
I go out and mine stuff, fabricate to condense down, and don’t come back till I’m full.
Then repeat as necessary.
That's efficient. I usually grab what I need when I need it.
That is a LOT of lockers. How hard is it to find the materials you need, after you build this expansively?
What’s in “compass”
storing a lot of compasses for their parts
Do you try to balance the inventory, or just grab everything you can?
Usually at that point I’m looking for specifics like titanium, lithium, and quartz, but will usually grab things that are convenient if I have space.
does going to this do anything? bc ive been here but nothing has happened
It's a location for you to check out, learn some information, scan some new blueprints
Phi robotics is nearby, west, up some stairs
ohhh okay, i was wlaready there
i explored all that before i got the beacon lol
i went through a bunch of caves idk

Where's a good spot to look for Prawn Grapple Arm frags
I've got the Drill Arm, one half of the standard Leviathan Hunter's toolkit
And I'm looking to get the other before I make my big push into the Cystal Caves
Going to assume you mean prawn
Seems that you cna find the fragments in a monkey nest in the lily pad zone crevice
Push it?
Push it back with prawn
Hello wassup guys does the game have anything new?
Hi, guess nothing since the last update
Which Is
When is subnautica 3 out
Still a couple of years away
We don't even know what the title of next game will be...I've understood that it will more likely be Subnautica 2 than Subnautica 3...
There is no such thing...the wrecks are from Mercury 2
Yes, you need to find databox in ||twisty bridges||
Look again your stored pda message: all wrecks are from vessel named Mercury 2
All three wreck pieces are from the Mercury 2, same ship that is brocken up upon launch from the planet. You can go inside all of them, indeed you have to visit them in order to make story progress.
There is lots of stuff to find and one story relevant item too (3 scans necessary). So take your time to fully explore them.
No, not tell you to go there. The story asks for an item and one PDA suggest that there are shipwrecks with stuff to find. So you would have to piece those two information together. But once you find the shipwrecks it is just logical to explore them. But the story does not force you to do but then no progress is possible. Some people find the item before the story asks for it.
Correct, a bit difficult to navigate with it but it will do. Craft some beacons to mark interesting locations. It makes it more convenient to go back to them.
Correct, as @steel stream wrote above in a data box Twisty Bridges
Correct, Twisty Bridges
The biome, where the coral bridges are twisted 🙂
I think there are multiple pieces of the Mercury II.
If you have compass, you can also look at the direction of your lifepod beacon (or any beacon you choose) and take screenshot. Then you have approximate depth + distance and direction from a known location.
use esc - unstuck. Up to 10 times.
Yes, you will have infinite oxygen too until you leave
Had that happen to me when I boarded the Snowfox, it clipped through the ground and I had to kinda swim to it and then out of the iceberg
I forgot about the unstuck button
it's a waypoint tool
What is the deal with the Titan Holefish?
Like why does a damn Holefish get a large size and how does it work?
I want a Titan Ghost Leviathan 😦
rate the farm 0/10
2/10. Not much variety, boring organization, at least the foundation is in a good place. Would love to see more flora, more corals and a bit of chaos to make it feel natural and diverse
So I'd seen playthroughs online prior to my own, so I decided to see how far I could get into the game without getting what's-his-name shoved in my head
Evidently pretty far, made it all the way to the bottom of the Fabricator Caves where I'm pretty sure I gotta build the man's body without ever meeting him
And amazingly there was even a unique line of dialogue
I intend to keep going today, see if I can resolve the whole plotline with Sam without him
Best-case scenario for me
There's some kinda alternate ending where I do what I came here to do and then leave without getting caught up in anything greater
Follow the markers, there will be a tool to scan at the end
Goes to show how underused that tool is when people don't even recognize it
Except that you cannot ||access the architect facilites without Al-An||
Yet it got to come back and not the Stasis Rifle
One of the tools was owerpowered, the other wasn't...
Hot take: Pathfinder tool is more useful
Oh and another thing, did they remove Medkit Fabricators too?
Or have I just not found the databox for it yet? Ik there was the lid of one in Marg's base
It apparently was removed
it was removed
I am happy with that change, though
I quess many players tried to scan it on the base...
including me
Lockers full of (free) medkits in the first game...
Yeah fr when I had medkit fabricator in Subnautica I always ended up with tons of extra medkits lol
When you're exploring an area, and suddenly all the boxes have med kits
Real panic, that foreshadowing was great
I've got a Prawn fully equipped for Leviathan-wrangling, I fear nothing
You probably fear time limits, you're gonna waste a lot of time
Perimeter defense works very well, no wrangling necessary
By my understanding, they grow that big because they need to be a good home for the symbiotes. I think the hole is lined with gills that filter oxygen out of the water.
It is if I wanna make sure those edgier discount Ghosts down there stay off my back
Also recently noticed the Shadow Leviathan and Ice Worm share a lot of physical attributes and idk what to do with this information
You could say the same about the many, many eels in the first game
I like how we only got 2 eels in this game, and they feel very different
Not just that
They also make similar sounds, and both have a wide triangular formation on their foreheads
Ironically tho I find gameplay-wise the creatures feel a lot less diverse
Visually, yeah, they all look amazing
But I feel like too many of them are passive compared to before
One is the 1000 degree knife challenge, and the other is just pointy. I did not find the sounds similar at all
Ice Worm has one of the most distinct sounds in the game
Shadow Leviathan feels more like the Sea Dragon than the ghost, honestly
Sea Dragon couldn't spot you from anywhere near that distance
Also Shadow doesn't have a projectile
It has a grab, it's very aggressive and loud and overwhelming, and then you get to see 2 at once
I liked a lot of the concept art creatures that didn't get used. For example, the sand spear.
Honestly I see a closer resemblance to Reapers then
Which is funny cuz the Chelicerate already feels like a knock-off Reaper
Personally I wish they brought back Ghost Leviathans specifically for their old job as guardians of the Void
Idk how far from the edge of the first game's crater they tend to wander but I reckon they have the mass that their territory could extend that far
Especially if there's even more of them than the 3 we see
Plus we don't have any returning Leviathans besides arguably that Reaper skull
The void ghosts only spawn when the player goes out of bounds, and are always aggressive, they don't have any paths or distances
I think seeing 3 void ghosts at once, lore-wise, is an extremely rare occurrence. They're very solitary and filter feed, it'd be like seeing multiple whale sharks at once
And speaking of returning creatures I am very prone to going on tangents, apologies
Maybe the Crashfish could've stood for a bit more use than they got
But I feel like they often appear in places where they just don't work in this game
Why're they showing up in open areas like around the Delta Island or the east Arctic, where they're super easy to avoid
I would've put them in tight spaces where their kamikaze behavior works better to their advantage
Like the western ice tunnels, or the Lilypad Root caves
And also nowhere near as deep as the Crystal Caves, how and why are they nearly a kilometer below sea level
Makes sense ye
Crashfish in open areas kinda work, I think. I don't know how much damage they deal, but I suppose the last cargo module would suffer a bit of damage
I was expecting them to be in very tight caves like the ones near the ship
I was also expecting the PDA entry to be different, it asks us to use Stasis or Repulsion (we don't have any)
The thing is lot of the biomes are too nice.
Electric eels, sand sharks etc. They don't do much.
Stalkers are really easy to kill and for some reason they took them away from below zero. Fine we are in the arctic but don't replace them with a pocket thief cutey
I don’t really agree. There’s brute sharks, those cryptosuchus, and worst of all for me, the lilypaddlers
And you’ve also got the squidshark, and spiky traps. So there’s “danger” lurking around, I don’t think it’s “too nice” at all. Oh and brinewings as well in some areas
There's no good reason that everything needs to be a mortal thread, that's generally not realistic. Granted, there may be some planet out there where literally everything will try to kill you...
I've always thought the bz soundtrack was inferior compared to the original, but I've been listening to it to use in my Subnautica short film (mainly because I don't feel comfortable using music from the original person) and like, wow the bz soundtrack is amazing. It's sounds so much better than the original like I just love it
I love the BZ soundtrack
I use it for my home massage therapy for background music (I’ve been getting massage therapy for about a year now, due to my two major surgeries I’ve had and need for rehabilitation) and it’s relaxing and beautiful
So I agree, I didn’t like it as much at first, but it’s really grown on me as well
I wouldn't say pretty, but it's definitely brutal and terrifying.
Even putting my biases about the creators aside, I feel it's just superior in every way. It feels like actual music, while the soundtrack in the first game just kind of feels like a cool beat. When I listen to the Subnautica soundtrack I think "yeah that's some cool music". When I listen to the below zero soundtrack I feel like I'm on sector zero, I feel the cold and harsh climate, the beauty of the world. It's amazing. I might not like the game but it's soundtrack is truely beautiful
Tree spires, twisty bridges, and lilypad music are fantastic
That and also Twisty Bridges fits so well with my short film as well lol
I honestly need to replay bz. I haven't played it since release. I hated it then but maybe my opinions have changed over time
I do believe they're pretty. They have such a pretty shape, and the colors/glowing ✨
I like it more than the original
I liked it more than the previous one as well, especially being able to place hatch stairs in foundations 🙏
I love the chelicerate, favourite leviathan behind shadow on 4546B. I also respect it for not being "serpent leviathan #10"
So true, there are too many eels in the crater
I dislike the overuse of making everything a snake
My main problem with the game is the story, I just found all the characters to be so annoying and it wasnt that well written. The gameplay I didn't mind because I kinda knew it was gonna be subnautica but less, though the snow fox was atrocious
Alan story is amazing, Sam story sucks. And it's dumb that the A plot becomes the B plot
My only gripe with the music is there is little variation in how music is actually used in the game. For example, when you’re in lilypads, like upper lilypads, there’s only 2 music tracks that play iirc, and they play on repeat over and over. And it gets so monotonous it drives me crazy and I have to turn the music off. This is far from the only instance where this happens. I did some checking and there’s an area where only one track plays. There’s others with very little variety too. So yeah, so many tracks but many are designated for special “occurrences” in the game, so it leaves little variety for other biomes and so you get a lot of repeat musical experiences (and being someone with a lot of musical experience/ear for music, it does get on my nerves
)
Yeah, a lot of the tracks in the base game were designed in a way to be used anywhere, but most of the below zero tracks are for specific biomes so it just makes them repetitive in game after a while. Though that's more a fault of the game than the soundtrack
I've never noticed tbh, maybe I just gotten used to it lol
Original SB has a lot of tracks shared between biomes
Oh yeah I’m not faulting the soundtrack, it’s down to sound design 💯
I noticed some plot holes in the story, like Al-An mentioning his species was like strings in an instrument, playing in harmony, then getting confused over the Jukebox, but I only realized that way after I beat the game
I agree that the story could have been improved, and I know from what's been said publicly that the developers had some struggles in that area, people leaving, disagreements, trying to stitch various pieces together. I also recognize that this is just a game, and the story is only meant to direct you to specific pieces of the puzzle, and there is still a lot you can do outside of the story. So ultimately, the story isn't the real factor on if I like the game or not.
The story would have been so much better if the ending to Sam's story wasn't so stupid. Like for a game really trying to push the mega corp bad narrative (which is already pretty generic for a sci-fi story) they ended up making the mega corp look good?
The story definitely has some weak parts, plot holes. But I still was able to enjoy the game especially since I never played early access so I never knew any different
The dialog, I agree, was lacking in a number of places with how it was written.
Yes, it was so dumb cause they were building towards Alterra Evil, big corporate cover-up. But no, it was literally negligence that caused her demise
I personally really liked the plot twist, Alterra doesn't look that bad
And they expect you to sympathize with a terrorist, which I prefer not to lol
Al-An could have played a more active role in watching what Robin was doing and offered comments or criticism of her actions (Was it really necessary to hit all those creatures with your sea truck, etc)
All while Marguerit gaslit Sam into doing all of this, I'm surprised Robin has no beef with Marguerit after reading the pdas
Is Alterra really the evil corporation we're lead to believe? Or just spin from disgruntled workers?
I wish she commented after reading the PDAs, yes, it felt horrible reading the craziest thing ever and then no reaction
I feel the biggest issue was that Unknown Worlds just weren't good with narratives. Subnautica doesn't really have a story, it has these details that piece together for you to finish the game. But it's not a story, there is no protagonist or character development. And it worked well for that game. But in below zero they tried to actually intertwine a narrative into the game with actual characters, problem is it seems they just aren't good at that so it falls flat. Subnautica works best when the story is a backdrop to the gameplay, not the other way round
It's so funny because Alterra actually made her look good. They say she died in an accident when she actually got herself killed. They helped her
They should have just scrapped the Sam story line after the 3rd time they tried to make it work, it clearly had problems through all phases of development, and needed so many rewrites. Should have dumped it and focused on making Alan's story better, Alan's story generally stayed the same throughout development
All they did was make him nicer lol
I like this portrayal of Alterra. Although the higher ups are like these scary heartless entities, the workers are very human, and working for Alterra is kind of a lifestyle. Playing Amogus with your colleagues, helping other teams, it feels so much like an indie dev team
||Marguerit should have stayed dead. They should have used someone from the Mercury instead. Then you don't have to use some plot hole to explain her presence here.||
I think it wasn’t so bad for their first attempt at a narrative styled adventure, especially given the story had to be rewritten and whatever other challenges came up (I wasn’t around for the early access stuff)
I agree, they also made me dislike Marguerit cause she gaslit Sam into performing acts of terrorism
It's pretty clear unknown worlds didn't really know where the story of the subnautica series was supposed to go, and just kept flinging ideas at the wall until they started running out of time. Which is a shame
It also kinds defeats the whole poetic end to the Degasi crew. In their attempt to harness nature they ended up getting themselves killed. Except suprise no they didn't they are halfway across the planet now
I don’t think there was a gaslighting dynamic, Maida and Sam didn’t know each other that long or have that close of a connection, but whatever I suppose
Just focusing on Al-an and the architects would have made the narrative so much better, the Sam plot drags BZ down more than adds any positives
||I didn't like Marg in the first game, now we just got more reasons to dislike her||
She constantly added fuel to fire for Sam, the greenhouse PDA gives off that feeling.
And that's what I took away from it
The worst part about the Sam plot is you don't actually need to complete it to finish the game. It is entirely seperate from the Alan plot, they don't intertwine at the end like a good narrative should
Yeah the first time around I finished the game without figuring out what happened to Sam
That's what I mean by the A plot becomes the B plot, it's crazy
That screams lack of PDA reading 👁️
If you just focus on going deeper, instead of following the PDA, you might skip her plot
I read the PDAs but there’s no in game requirement to finish up Sam’s story, no prompts
||Al-An literally asks you if you've done everything you wanted to do before using the Arch||
I really hope Subnautica 3 comes with a strong plot
I'm still not clear on why Marg wants to stay on this world so badly, and why she considers it all 'her land'. Surely there would be easier planets to live on, and she was originally just along as security. Seems she would have had a decent life out there with more opportunities.
That’s pretty vague
I like BZ more because of soundtrack, biome design, and awesome leviathans hostile and friendly. I like the Al-an/Robin dynamic a lot I wish there was more of it. I will also defend the seatruck till my last breath
And can mean a lot of different things
Gtg, was fun chattin folks
That just sounds like a "are you sure you want to finish the game?" Message
Exactly
Eh I still consider this a sequel
Press any key to continue...
That line made me think about all I've done in the game, and what I think was possibly left. Apparently I only missed the
eggs, which I completely forgot were a thing, I thought I had 100%
A self-reflecting moment
Did you get the squidshark egg?
Is it blue with 2 tendrils?
I don't know if Snow Stalkers and Pengwings have eggs, but I didn't get their eggs either
yes it is
I got 2 because I wasn't sure what fish it was so when I find out they'd have a friend
I need to hatch them, my base is in a bad place, I'll make a better one elsewhere
Because the egg is rarer than the trivalve.
There are only 2…
Based on what I've read, you might have them all...if we're talking squidsharks
I assumed there were more
;-;
But they were easier to find than trivalve eggs, I still have no idea where to find them, and I don't want any help please thank you
when I released a hatched squiddy, it bnroke my base. But that was in early access
Imma do a trip around the whole map
I'm so excited to find out which eggs are what
I forgor about what a few of them were
||do you know there are squidshark eggs?||
||read just a very tiny bit above||
I have both, how adorbs
you get to see the low-poly version terrain
Same happens when you turn off weather effects, it looks very…”stark”
Looks sad, almost
Yeah
Marg is an old lady with a shotgun. Let her live on her ranch.
So uh
How does ACU work in this game
Ik before you had to put plants in it that matched the native biome of whatever you were trying to hatch
Problem there is
Very few biomes in this game are identifiable by their plant life
Eggs don't require any kind of plants though. Not in this game nor the first game 😛
Just put an egg in the ACU, wait some game days and that's it.
If there was a time when plants were needed for eggs to hatch, that must have been a long time ago (even for the first game)...although that would be something the pda entries point to, and an interesting concept
Right, I’ve never seen that as a requirement.
I don't know if I can really talk about it but she was more proactive in the first iteration.
Does that mean she had hooves where her eyelashes should have been? 😱
She didn't want to stay.
That’s a 180 then…
Also that random chunk of Architect tech she lets Preston chew on used to be a McGuffin we wanted
Yeah I find it funny they kept it in the game for him to chew on, and didn't let us even use it
Not even for the lategame facilities
Do any of the facilities require tablets of any kind in this game?
Or are they all locked behind getting brain-blasted
There is no tablet.
Which is a curious thing when you think about it...
Weird
Cuz I'm pretty sure all of them are still in the game
Even the red and white ones that never got used in the first place
Only if you use the cheat codes I think.
There are no tablets to pick up and craft
Yeah but still
So, not really in the game...
Still in the code
A long with a lot of other leftover stuff
That's a whole separate issue. LOL
Stasis Rifle is still in perfect condition, Seamoth still functions even if it has no textures
I think the Repulsion Cannon is still around but don't quote me on that
Even the Terraformer is still obtainable even if it doesn't work w/o mods
It would have been fun if some of these were included, I agree. My main annoyance is that you have to hunt around for fragments and databoxes. And there are dropped PDAs everywhere, but apparently no central computer system. Everyone is going around with iPads but there is no internet or main server they connect with. But even these PDAs should have more than just a single entry, same for the databoxes. I know that would have drastically changed the gameplay, but it would have made a lot more sense than finding all sorts of broken bits you needed to scan.
At least for the basic items. Save the scanning and downloading of blueprints for upgrade or enhancements. All the things that the tinkering engineers might have been doing in their free time, which is fairly realistic.
Apologies for drifting off topic...
It would be really cool if the PDA allowed you to make your own entries, A personal diary would be neat
Could just use a notes app if you really want to 😛
If you play on Steam their overlay has a built in note app now.
And I could just play my own music from another app instead of using the in-game jukebox, always better when it's a feature :)
I would say no but I know each of its locations so I might be biased.
best place to find it, because it has something else you need: twisty bridges canyon, depth 120m, by a small building. Eastern half
The best but probably not the easiest. You're right since it has another blueprint it's the one to advice, but I think most people find it on the island.
It would be interesting to know.
here
yes, outside the base door
yes
this is common, because you see a base, you rush inside
er, go to my picture instead, because of reasons
I am capturing a better pic
Also you can scan a window where you get that habitat builder and that databox
builder tool and more
Yes. Try to b.. I mean, upgrade the game.
Probably should be spoilers for the images?
Twisty bridges is early game, so it’s not really spoilers
True, yet many people miss that spot.
yes, which is very sad.
There are three spots for habitat builder that I’m aware of. Depends on what my game goals are on which I go for first.
they suffer without that o2 upgrade for too long
Oxygen…
You're missing two.
in my picture, yes. And ONLY there
When I first played, I was all the way over into lilypads looking for Maida and didn’t have a rebreather so yeah I feel that pain
There are 5 habitat builders?
I know 4 locations
||Delta, Zero||, and that ||Twisty|| one are all I recall.
Two in the mining site.
That's fair.
I knew there was 1 in there, didn't notice the second one
Oh yeah, I think I remember one there. It’s been a bit.
Obviously by the time you get that deep you’ve already scanned one, unless you’re in creative mode, then it doesn’t matter anyway.
game folder
Know that nobody likes dishonest people though.
I know the version you're playing. And it isn't Steam.
I totally missed the outside one there…
You know, your Steam game list is also public.
Let's make a deal then. Send a feedback report. And if your version is legitimate I won't ban you.
But the version in your screenshot told me enough already.
🍿
Press F8 in the game, then click on a smiley.
You have access to that, Ignis?
Everyone has, Tomtores.
Oh no. That means there are couple angry reports from me floating around somehwre 😅
geforce GT 730. What a speed monster
I assume it is, but I don't know what you're trying to prove here.
I figured that much.
For the record, the current experimental version on Steam is 49565.
And not the two you used.
Also, by sending a feedback I know for sure your version is not legitimate.
isnt it a bit weird it ends up on publicly viewable site? It probably was described in some kind of eula I didn't have time to read, but still, not expecting the contents of my reports ending up on public internet
Were you that angry in your report? :þ
Don't worry though, even if there are some information it isn't possible to know it's you unless I know your SteamID.
It's a hash.
my steam id would be triavial to find. just look up this totally unique username.
Sure but you won't look at every profile page and try to hash it to check if it matches.
And the information you send is all on the page above, it's just what you said, your position when you said it, your hardware. Nothing else that could be a privacy concern.
So I’m guessing he had some sort of hacked version?
Ah
Which was on Steam between April 24 and 26.
As you know you can't prevent the automatic updates.
Yup
Then they asked if the current version was 49550 and tried to report a feedback with this.
you can block them on steam. unless agme checks internally like some do
But the current one is 49565.
And with the feedback I know for sure. Also their game's list is public on Steam and there was no Below Zero.
You can't prevent it unless you're in offline mode for a while.
Changing the manifest does nothing.
there are a lot of versions on shady sites. it's not from "someone". Their origin is steam
If there is an update it will download it.
👍
I see downloads every now and then on Steam but don’t see my version change, so I have. I clue what’s going on in the background.
What you can do is download only when you'll play.
you can not however, stop a download, except via offline mode. For months in this case.
The experimental build had daily updates until a few months ago.
Mine still shows 49371
49371 is the stable build.
pretty sure you can disable updates in steam. and there are command line tools to get specific game version published on steam.
Try it then.
You'll see it isn't possible.
Assumed that. But I still see downloads happen…
Did this for different game. To undo a patch where devs messed up badly before disaappearing. did not try it with subnautica. But if game does not check itself, it can be done.
As for Depot Downloader, the fact the experimental build had daily update would overwrite them.
Yes because the updates were sporadic.
For instance now if you use depot downloader to download an old manifest, as long as an update isn't pushed you're safe.
But it wasn't the case with the experimental build as they were automatic updates, daily ones.
Also there is not a big interest to use old experimental build manifest.
you should still be able to rollback to previous public builds. no need to dabble in experimental
You can rollback yes. But that isn't the point here.
The person was not using a legitimate copy.
And it was two old experimental builds.
not arguing with the evidence presented, it looked fishy (sic)
Does the game require steam to launch or i can launch it just with the exe file?
The exe will launch Steam as there is a DRM.
Ok thank you
Is it better to play on experimental builds or in the latest stable release?
There are very similar. The developers don't work on the game anymore. They are working on Moonbreaker and "The Next Game In The Subnautica Universe©".
So the experimental build is close to the release build.
There are additional bugs fixed on the exeperimetal?
The last thing they pushed on it was this: #dev-check-ins message.
And it was a while ago already.
I know when you try to color the vehicles it doesn't work right away you have to reload. And this bug isn't in stable.
I was told to come here if I ever talk about the torgals
Yet if I speak here I will get spoilers for bz
I just wanted to ask something, isn’t the whole reason we were in the region of 4546B to look for the degasi which had bart torgal as the captain?
it was a side mission for Aurora. Main was to set up a phase gate
I think
Degasi sort of reappears in BZ. In a real way
I was in the ||Crystal Caves|| and I got the ||Proceed with caution. A leviathan class creature is near|| as I was being attacked by the ||Shadow Leviathan||
THANKS CAPTAIN OBVIOUS
Lmao imagine if we didn’t crash into 4546B and set up a phase gate, the amount of casualties would skyrocket
I was literally about to click that because I thought I was in sub 1 chat
Alright I’ll go back there so you guys don’t have to keep spoiling basic things
TBH the cut ending with Maida taking down a ship with just her prawn suit was kinda cool
guys why is lead so hard to find in below zero like wtf 😭
and its used in so many more recipes
anyone have a suggestion on where i can find a lot
ya, it's a little sad. Scanner room recommended. With HUD chip
yeah but i cant find any magnetite
twisty and the delta island biome (tree spires)
I didn't mean tree spires, it's called thermal spires
oh ok
I had a few lockers full of lead, just takes a lot of rock breaking.
Are you sure the phasegate was supposed to be built close to 4546b? I think Aurora was meant to use the planet for slingshot maneuver, meaning it still had some distance left to travel
The phasegate was never meant for 4546B, 4546B was a planet that was within the route
There was already a working gate when Riley left.
I tried that but i got it unstuck with foundations
what the (note: this is "Nothing" in russian)
Guess you are at the Phi Robotics Dock in the West arctic, right? There is a ladder at the right where you can go up to the dock. There is nothing to do here in the water.
No interaction with the floating dock, just ignore.
The questionsmark on the left wants you to answer the call from AlAn, press T to answer
No interaction? You can climb in this game. They made a specific animation just for this.
Unless you tell me it doesn't work for this one, in this case I didn't know.
Where?
Here: https://snexpansion.unknownworlds.com/changes-and-checkins, but you have to go back in time a bit as they aren't working on both games.
The last ones were:

||me personally i think that below zero would have been better without the alterra evil storyline. like in the first game its already said that they are not good people but it was it a better way. if they just stayed as a commicly terrible company while below zero had a good survival story it would be much better than. "i need to hide from alterra because they evil" i much prefer "i have to survive but all i got is this crap from alterra"||
||I love how human the Alterra employees are. I do believe Alterra was portrayed exactly how I imagined them to be based on the first game. Bad higher-ups, but the workers are the best.||
I like the character of Fred very much, the low maintenance guy! I am like Fred, the seatruck guy. He is my favorite character.
Ny below zero keeps crashing for no reason sometimes
I'll have ZERO lag
and then BOOM! game crash.
🖐️
POV: Fish
Question, near the dock at the island where ||Phi Robotics|| is, there's a cave that is blocked by a sheet of ice
How do I get in
Like you can see in, the ice is clear
You don't. If theres a small hole and you are too big, it's for the spy pengling
No, not those
oh you mean the underwater tunnel
Underwater, there's a cave (that could fit the seatruck) that's covered completely by a sheet of clear ice
yes
NExt to the cable. That's an exit only. A shortcut, and not important
That sucks
You can laser cut the ice but like meatie said, you can only cut it from one side (the prompt and ability to use the laser cutter won’t be available if you approach from the other side)
Where is the entrace to the mercury II wreck near the|| lily pads||?
i am looking for half an hour and cannot find it
at the bottom, side. I think there's also a hole on top
here, two entrances
ok thank you
what should i do with the reactor rods? what are they for?
the spent one, discard. The full ones are for the nuclear reactor. it's in here for scanning. Also don't miss the alien containment tank
alien containment tank? i think i am done but didnt find any
oh that one, yes i found it
||i think that mergerete surviving was outlandish and really destroyed the degasi storyline of the first game and made it for nothing||
I can't agree. it just makes her cooler. She wasn not ||confirmed dead||
||i dont know how to explain it subnautica one is amazing and while below zero is good it just feels more corperate i guess||
So I looked this up to no help, can you plant the Prestons Plant in a growbed?
Definitely. You need to pick the fruit and plant that.
Thanks. Now to find the base. Should I help shut down the radio thingy first
I know its the greenhouse where you find it
You have to shut down the tower before you’ll get a call about the greenhouse location
okay
what i need to make snowfox? i have the blueprint but i dont know with what i make it
You need to place the hoverpad on land first. It’s constructed at the hoverpad actually
hoverboard?
Habitat builder on land should bring up options that include placing the hoverpad for snowfox
gotta scan the pad too
There’s one when you go inside the doors at Phi Robotics
do i have to have additional modules or upgrades to use this?
Nope
Without modules a moonpool will work as well, but the moonpool doesn't do any repairs. The dock does, for the truck itself.
the best thing with the dock is having the modules as walk-in rooms
Can the snowfox go on the water or it will sink?
it floats but doesn't move, much
where do i make snowfox upgrades?
regular fabricator. Possibly on the pad, but I doubt it
no no. The truck doesnt go on land
I can confirm this.
I dont understand what do i have to do in land where phi robotic centre is?
- land based. 2. you plant purple blobs, not leaves.
Loot and scan everything obviously.
It also serves as a convenient marker for that portion of the land exploration you’ll do.
What?
There’s a large area nearby with things to explore, including the reason Robin came to that planet.
theyre so cute 🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁🙁
@noble sky
Idk we're here now ig
Okay I went to like the mining site once tho
Idk why I never saw one I suppose
You have to go all the way down
Zamn
You can see rock punchers also on the ground around thermal spires, the area surrounding delta island. You don’t have to go inside and all the way down into Koppa to find the rock punchers, although I don’t know how many are found outside around delta tbh
Yeah. You'd need depth modules.
I told grimm
You can find their eggs in koppa. I don't know where else.
I know you can find them in shallow enough water to just be swimming around delta, because I’ve found them near the dock at delta
The eggs are certainly down inside Koppa, I don’t recall if there are any inside those extremely thermally active caves in and around there. You can find crypto eggs in those places but I don’t remember if there are any rock puncher eggs outside of Koppa
Do Ice Worms get angry at bases? If they have a docked vehicle. Do they ignore base pieces?
They do not destroy the bases, but they can still cause harm to Robbin inside occasionally. I have a base in Arcitc Spires and I watch the ice worm from within but now and then it causes some minor health damage to Robbin. But never any serious issue.
I know nothing break bases, I was wondering if it would possible for the worm to dig through it
The animation let it pass straight though the bases without interacting with it at all. So no distruction of any kind but some health damage to Robbin.
It'd be really scary
Does Robin/Prawn get damaged? And how much?
I do not go out with Reinforced Dive Suit, by the way
Very very rarely and only minor. Nothing to worry about.
Does the ||rock puncher 1 shot the prawn suit or the sea truck?||
So it's not a problem if I walk around like 3 of them in my prawn?
They don't attack very often
K thanks
In any case, just have your repair tool ready at all times and repair when necessary or frequently. Dont worry too much about occasional damage, just take it for granted to go out of the prawn or seatruck and give your equipment a brief touch up.
Nothing really poses any threat to your vehicles when you have a repair tool
||What is the lore behind sea monkeys giving me items instead of taking them without any big spoilers cuz i visited an artifact and then they randomly started giving me items and I'm confused||
The worst that can happen is that you leave it just above crush depth and some animal just pushed it blelow crush depth. Then you come back and find your seatruck nowhere.
or pinnacarids can drag it on land. I once left my seatruck in front of a shallow iceberg and found it on dry land when I came back.
You can use the prawn to push it back in the water though
But quite a shock
||They love Al-An||
Crabsnake memories...
||The dude in my brain calling me occasionally?||
Is what happened to me haha
You have ||AlAn in your head and that chances their behaviour||. More imporant, you can pin reciepies and they bring you resources you need.
Yes. If you have a flare they won't even approach you though
Ik the pin recipe thing but i wanted to know the lore
If they offer you something and you don't pick it up, they get sad and bring another item
They really wanna help
They bring another item!?!
Pinned recipies are linked to the seamonkey behaviour. They really bring you items you need for your crafting.
Well Ima keep declining titanium then
Yes, if you reject titanium, sometimes they return with gold
It depends on the biome
Thanks
I only rejected them 1 time to see what happens
But they gave me what i need and now i need titanium
I don't know if you noticed, but they no longer take your items away
They love you now
What if i kill one?
You will not kill one.
I don't know what happens, but I don't have the guts to find out
Ok that was a test to see if u actually killed one or not
U passed the test, hooray
@carmine bobcat is the prawn suit voice british tho? Bc i named my prawn British ginger and i wanna know if i should switch it
Nothing, they respawn. You will accidently kill many of them with the seatruck. They just appear out of nowhere and you run over them. Nothing bad happens.
Im not switching it then, thanks again 😊
Do stalkers respawn?
Ice Worms got me crying last night
Correction by @bold monolith the do respawn if killed by a creature/Player
I just got a heart attack
Suddenly all of the stalkers started running away, and a worm ate one, and then burped
Same happened with the plant with tendrils, it just ate a lilly paddler in from of me and burped
Remember there is a "respawn if killed by a creature" mechanic in both games.
Aww how adorbs
The snowstalker will respawn if it's killed by a creature.
Seatruck would keep you save with the perimeter defence upgrade .-)
Yesssss thank you sooo much
This a leviathan or not?
It looks pretty big. Warrants a scan
Otherwise the creatures that respawn when killed by the player aren't straightforward in this game.
Like the first one.
For instance, in the first game aggressive creatures don't respawn (besides things like warpers but that's the way they're coded). In this game, things like the brinewing, the lilypaddler respawn.
Ima scan it
Absolutely
Does nootfish respawn?
Yes
It ate me
Means??? Prawnsuite gone?
No i got out and tried to scan it
Ah, death wish
Good thing i saved before trying to scan it
They deal 75 damage
I was low
Again, use seatruck with perimeter defence and all is just fine and easy
Smart
How much damage do rock punchers do to a player tho
I saw that it's threat lvl is pretty high
I don't remember, but they're very passive
I was vibing around 1 for like 2 seconds and it jumped trying to attack me
Grumpy puncher
Almost went to my base cuz i thought I couldn't fit more loot
Yo
I have a full inv and i took out my battery from my scanner to charge it and the battery just vanished cuz of my full inv is that a bug that i should report?
Oh
I took out smth from my inv and it appeared back
That's a feature, if you get item with full inventory (reclaimed water from stillsuit could be the most common case), it stays in memory and appears in your inventory when there is space
Once you have the recyclotron you dont have to worry about storage and batteries anymore (almost at least :-))
do i do something here or i leave it as it is?
find the thingy
the sample?
yes
dp i have to go to a different area or it will be here?
not sample, cure. clue on the phi wall map that you hopefully scanned
or I can paste the map
i have the map
the only red thing on there
red hand writen circle?
yes, cause that's the only red. Clue inside circle too
thats where i am?
hm? The place looks like this
i am in a cave where outside there are frozen acacias
Thats close to the || glacial connection || right?
.
yes
the sample would be here?
see the cave?
I'm back what's up with the new server profile
is halloween. Well soon
Spooky month
I always thought it was just a like with some penglings
Theres a cube there right?
I forgot how deep it goes
i just leave after|| injecting the antidot?||?
yes
there are more to do in the land?
yes, but north of that bridge
in the acacia trees area?
i have found the snofox upgrade
cannot find anyting
north goes to the phi robotics
now i go to the bridge that needs hydrolic fluid?
i've done with this part of the land?
Then you're done with the land part pretty much.
well, north is also land, but separate
I misread I thought they said they already did that.
Unles you want to go back and strip the resources there. 😉
I have found hydrolic acid, is that what i need for the brisge?
You don't find it you have to craft it unless I don't remember properly.
No, the hydraulic fluid.
i haven't found blueprint for it
which control panel?
can you mark it on the screenshot?
u dont understand what exacly canister is
Left side by the control panel, there's a broken one on the ground, orangish brown. Looks like a soda can.
this?
ok i am going there
oh yeah i meant to ask about that, is there anything i should be getting from there? i think i got everything but im not too sure
From where? Across the bridge?
Assuming that's what you meant, one important scannable item to finish the game, and lots of resources including ion cubes.
Guide map to north of the bridge (Arctic spires). Spoilers
thank you!! it looks like i got everything, might do a second run around just in case tho
bottom of an elevator is a music disc
yo les gooo i didnt even mean to find this

yo i just got the spy pengling and remote and tried to place it down but it doesnt let me what am i doing wrong?
it allows me to place it in water but not on land for some reason
but the remote also doesnt work
is it easy to find seatruck modules and upgrades? i haven't found any (exept aquarium) and i am stuck with the default seatruck with depth upgrades
It doesn’t work in water. You should just need to drop it, then use the remote to activate and control it.
yeah well it doesnt let me even put it down on land
Takes some swimming around, different modules are in different areas. ||Deep Twisties, purple vents, and Lillypad ||areas.
Not sure on that, I never had that issue…
scanner room detecs the as fragments?
Definitely. But some areas have a lot of various fragments…
if you are using mod: More quick slots, that's why. Change it to quickslots+, or try the first 5 slots
im not using any mods this is my first playthrough completely vanilla
which are the ||purple vents||?
ok, is that how the biome called?
Yes
how can i see the biome's name when i am there?
If you’re on Steam and PC I think F1 may show that info, not sure. Anything else you’d have to google it.
i saw this on wiki but i can only add one horsepower module in the seatruck
The modules in this game are the extensions on your Seatruck. The horsepower is an upgrade.
now i see, ok
the table is a little wrong. Speed starts dropping with module 3, 4 if you have Horsepower
Who else thinks the base builder should be in the original subnautica? Cause I really wish to customize my bases color.
you mean control room. There was an attempt at backporting, but it became too big
Doesn't have to be the control room just an option to change your bases color.
backporting?
adding back a BZ feature into the older game. This happened for some things, seaglide map key, unstuck, large room, and whatever I forgot
Ok!
and several bug fixes
yeah, that one always makes sense.
hmmm
you are using commands!
is the new game out yet
damn bro
Any date is a guess right now. We have no info at all.
What will happen on spring 2025?
we have no date either
Flowers will bloom, birds will sing. Devs will dev…
Subnautica fans will hate on BZ
I’d buy it…
Unfortunately we know very little to nothing about the next subnautica game, what I do know is it will support multiplayer and will be along the lines of subnautica 2, since bz technically is a spinoff, unknown worlds have been working on sub2 for around 6 months, but had to stop I think because they are still looking for new members of the dev team, however everything is still going accordingly, but if you want to know more about this, youtubers Aci and Anthomnia are my main subnautica news stuff other than discord, or maybe check with unknown worlds page for anything.
Has multiplayer been actually confirmed by the devs or is it only a rumor...
We basically know nothing other than things from job postings and the fact that it will be in Unreal Engine 5 and have water
Multiplayer does seem very likely considering they are building the new game from scratch and a job posting mentioned experience with a character creator as a plus
If you're looking for something with a closer drop date look for a mod called: Subautica Call Of The Void
by the youtuber Aci
yo i just watched the trailer and it looks fire
ikr
the mini cyclops seatruck seamoth thing looks odd tho
the hydra?
too tall not long enough
idk the name, prob tho
it looks cool to me.
guys i j beat subnautica below zero ending was pretty lit but a huge freaking cliff hanger 😭
i KNOW
fr
i hope sub 3 is somewhat a combo of both stories
I BETTER KNOW in the 3rd one bro
read my mind
oh yeah mbbb
why your bad?
well i dont wanna spoil ykk
the bz ending?
ya
also have either of you gotten all of the achievements?

does it spoil the story?
