Why is it that hard to find table coral in this game compared to subnautica

In sn you used to get about 4 coral pieces per coral and considering coral was already pretty common in shallows you had an overabundance of coral. Imo bz fixed it a bit as coral is mainly used for the computer chip which doesn't need that much, so it makes scavenging more interesting

I don't have an easy way to describe how to find it, and I'm never really watching the compass down there. Once I see it though I usually drop a beacon so I can get back.

There are two paths very close together, one sort of cave-like sloping down and to the left, you'll see red crystals after a bit. The other is to the left of that and lower down, they meet up at the entrance to that cavern.

Well, it's usually the right way. Go north from the lifepod, follow the wall underwater on the right until you see the brinicles, and go to the surface around there.

@modest carbon if you go just to the left of delta island from drop pod you will find purple vents where there will be no ||chelicerite|| but there will be cryptosuchus there. They don't do that much damage and you could avoid them by using sea-side and swimming around, in a circular direction should help. Lithium can be found on the ground even at 20m but there is definitely a higher percentage of them the lower you go.

You should have a beacon of a "pilots last known location" or something along the lines of that. If not probably keep playing the game for a while until it appears, unless it appears when you go near the lillypads, in which case maybe just go to lillypads and see. Anyway, let's say you do have the beacon. From drop pod head towards the beacon/go south behind ||delta island (I pass on the left like Captain America). You might also pass a spaceship so that's a good sign|| keep going South until green murky water and stay low to the ground to see where you're going. Once you start seeing drops in the ground go a bit father as there is a hole in the ground with lots of like tunnels/routes around the place. I don't know the exact location as I just swim around with the intent to go deeper and it somehow easily leads me there anyway lol. Even when I don't want to. But keep Trying to go down and eventually you will come to an opening 💪
