I repaired the hydraulic bridge and headed northeast like he told me to, and while i was actively running for my life from an ice worm he told me that hey! there's a really strong architect energy here! very helpful, al-an. thanks. :p shortly afterward i found a pretty basic artifact, some kind of thermal thing? and I've not found anything else nearby. I seem to have hit some kind of wall to the northeast, too. Was he just talking about the artifact? I was expecting another proper body component of some kind, honestly, hence the continued search, but I'm about at my wit's end getting caught in storms and hiding out in caves at night. ||

The seaglide seems to last longer, at least by a little bit - but they also got rid of that trick where you can toss a dead battery into the fabricator and have it give you a fully charged new tool!

in general, one major complaint I have atm with the game is that, without wrecks like in the first game, I have no idea of where I'm supposed to go if I want to find fragments. Wandering around everywhere praying that I find a laser cutter fragment instead of the billionth sea glider fragment sounds miserable.

Sometimes things like coral get stuck and the grav trap loosens them. They are also convenient for catching fish before you finally get plants you can grow.

I use the grav trap when I need a lot of food I go I pick it up set it near a big group of fish and take the fish or use it for big clumps of scrap metal (first game) and ore deposits

once I'm done using it I just set it near a bunch of fish so it doesn't take inv space or storage space

What I meant is, if you take a moonpool for instance, if your powercells on the Seatruck are depleted, it will use 0.0025 * 400 (2 * 200 energy of the powercells) = 1 energy per second. The bioreactor input is 0.83 energy per second. So just with one moonpool, if it charges your Seatruck your energy will go down.

Seatruck has a module you can unlock and construct to carry the prawn on the back end

You unlock the hoverbike and build its hoverpad on the ground (must be solid ground not just floating ice patches, it doesn’t work across water) and you can pick it up and stick it in inventory should you want to walk or need to ascend areas it can’t go across. Takes up quite a few inventory slots, but I’ve done this, because sometimes I prefer walking in ||ice worm territory|| over riding the bike.

Confirm, no crush damage to prawn docked in seatruck. I did that when my prawn had a glitch that sometimes when loading a save the prawn upgrades were gone, so I just removed them before saving, and when loading, first thing to check if the upgrade panel showed correctly. If it didn't, I guit and reloaded until it worked

Also funny thing that seatruck modules (fabricator, storage etc) don't need depth modules to handle any depth...
