Left and up, you'll come to a bridge that needs hydraulic fluid, old container on the ground there. Scan it, then make one more, put it in the open slot, then extend the bridge. Al-An will mumble some vague warnings, go as far NW as possible.||

A seamoth could fit through better. And Subnautica's biomes tend to be more open and larger so the seatruck would fit more

Just look for the beacon that pops up. It can be in one of several places at the start, it's random within a limited set of locations, all in roughly the same area.
Keep that beacon on, it will be your home for a bit until you progress more.

There are not infinite but they are plenty (45-93) and you would have to teleport a lot of you want to deplete them.

Tether tool can be recharged with swim charge fins, but it takes quite a lot of time. I would assume that with recyclotron you can craft depleted ion cubes into ion batteries/power cells and charge them. Or as I found out, crafting a recyclotron with depleted cube and then decrafting it results in a fully charged ion cube...

I made a ticket saying it was too easy to recharge with the charge fins, and I picked a number to fill my case, I said 30k to express it, and the developer in charge of the ticket took it literally.
I'm also the reason why you gain too much kyanite from the nodes in SN1 now.
So I guess I can be blamed for screwing the balance of these games a bit. :þ
I think the kyanite node should give you 1-2 pieces each time you break it now instead. In SN1 you just drill one node you're good to finish the game.
It's still better than what it was before.

It has been suggested before, the problem however is that both games are not made with it in mind. They would need to redo a lot of how the lighting system in the game works to support it. Which considering how niche and honestly kind of 'gimmicky' RTX still is I don't blame them for.
