If you compact 5 titanium into 1 ingot and add 2 lithium to make a plasteel ingot in your seatruck you compact 7 items into 1 inventory slot. And thats how you store them in your base until you need them. Then you undo it with the recyclotron

I was testing propulsion cannon and moonpool, but it doesn't work. Although I know a way to place a pengling in a base, by placing a corridor on a room, then kiss the corner between the room and the corridor, and release it. The animation might place it inside.

But it ends up swimming as all the other fish clipping inside.

How to catch a fish alive:
Truck full of building mats (didn't bring enough)
Build a platform 3x4 (you can hide under them when fish is near. Building another ones from under is also possible)
Build a corridor and hatch. Hide when necessary
Build a 3 vertical connectors column
Begin building the top corridors - every second one is T piece that will form bar. You can also dangle down 1-2 vertical pieces on every junction to get early wall that shields you from the fishy.
Once the top ring is complete with top bars and some dangling pillars, calmly finish the bottom ring and rest of the pillars for looks. Remember to build pillar in the opening for now too! Fishy can't reach you if you stand in the middle, but beware, it has astounding grab range.
I found that leviathan would not fit in 3 wide x 3 tall and had to make it actually 4 tall for it to fit in the opening. You fish size may vary.
Once the box is complete open the one side - stand in using prawn to lure the fishy. Jump outside. get into hatch. Run to toher side. Quickly build corridor at the entrance to block the fishy.

I build my #22 base in deep twisty bridges, a megabase with 6 observatories, 5 multipurpose room and a very looooong ladder going from the bottom of twisty bridges all the way down to deep twisty. Wow, I never could appreciate the beauty of deep twisty bridges during the game because it was always stressful to go down there in the beginning of the game. But now I can sit in my observatories and enjoy the magnificent view of this stunningly beautiful biome.

game is weird with scannable fragments. I found like 50 laser cutters, 20+ seaglides and grav traps and enough pieces of cabin to assemble dozen trucks. In crystal caverns I'm completing my 20th set of torpedo and grav cannon arms.
Yet when you look for things like sleeper module for seatruck, there is total 4 pieces clustered together in single spot on map. Kind of unbalanced.

Also, truck modules scattered in clusters look realistic, aka destroyed trucks. preawn arms scattered across inacessible cavenr? not so much

then the crews went on expeditions and some died to the local fauna and weather, while others got infected with the disease

some of them survived (at least two), but presumably they all succumbed to something after that

But if you pick the marblemelon and put it back, it takes 4 slots in planter

From the Phi Dock you follow the ice wall south, always looking to go west until you reach a cave area where you have lots of eye jelly, there you go in and look for a tiny passage

Yeah that was the cave i was talking about, it was normally on the right side when facing the bridge area, you would normally find it when there were loads of jelly, now its on the left side of the bridge area. I remember i had to go under and past the sub zero ice pillars before getting to the jelly fish reserve and then the cave.

@west mountain still that area but there was a cave you had to go through to get to an outpost/lab before you got to the frozen levi. Was looking for that cave which meatie said is gone now. I have found what i assume is the new cave.

There are many underwater swim caves you can go through, there is one cave behind/above phi robotics that goes to frost acatia forest. There is the glacial basin connection tunnel that goes directly to glacial basin. There is another cave that connects the frozen river with glacial basin. And you have the tunnel tunnel that goes from the bridge to arctic spires (not glacial basin). So many options to choose from.

There's an underwater tunnel up north, going from the ice door you can't open from the outside, to the elevator/portal

No, not that. Im talking about the cave that was right after the beacon you find at the start, when you pass the subzero pillar formation and just got to the jellyfish area. You normally got it on the right side when following the wall

The only beacon you get in west arctic is the Phi landing pad right in front of phi robotics on land. And alien artefact Z13, sorry forgot that one.

Last time i played this was still in EA. When the Seamonkies stole your tools. There was a cave that went directly to Phi robotics or a lab or something. but its not there where i remember it was. It was when you followed the ice wall going through the subzero pillars and entered the Jelly reserve, with the bridge on your left side. That architect ice block wasnt there yet.

Now there are only the caves we mentioned above. Never played EA so no idea what it was at that time.

The cave was around this area i marked on the map. There was a cave when the Jellyfish became dense which took you directly to i assume Phi Robotics.

So these are the underwater tunnels that are in the game. The blue point is the ||frozen leviathan|| in glacial basin. The area north is arctic spires. The one tunnel in the north with the arrow can only be access from the north because it needs a laser cutter to cut through from the inside. Then you have the glacial basin connection in the south that goes from the jellyfish cave underwater to the lake in glacial basin. There are also some other tunnels connecting to it as well. And you have the underwater cave when you go above phi robotics to frost acacia forest.

Anyone know why they changed the colour of creepvine clusters from yellow to red?

Because its in the arctic. Different seafloor gives different colors of the seeds. Its nature

You should see it in your beacon list. But it only shows up when the snowfox is deployed or parked on the hover pad.
