There is two, you can either go through some tight spaces assuming you have no seatruck modules and then there is a small entrance you can get through without the seatruck but I have difficulty finding that one

Any of the cracks that the seatruck can fit in will lead there as far as I can tell, there are some that the seatruck can’t fit in though and I think there is one that takes you to the other entrance

Yeah if you follow the fire vents and tight gaps I think you should eventually make it to the koppa mining site
Just make sure you don’t start poking around the purple vent biome, that place doesn’t lead to the koppa mining site
Anyway I think that’s the best I can explain the route to the mining site, hope it helped!

For the added simplicity of entering your base, I tend to have one anyway, because clicking on the ladder is annoying sometimes.
Also, it's only 1 quartz and 1/2 titanium, not a ton of materials, not you're not losing much.
