Subnautica: big, open map, very well made biomes, interesting story, but has less in terms of customization (no cnotrol room or much of any furniture), wonderful sound design (both in terms of music and SFX), cyclops
Below Zero: very cramped feeling map, biomes that don't make much sense (kelp in the arctic?) decent story, more customization, seatruck is pretty neat, prawn is kinda better than in subnautica but feels a lot slower, music just isn't the same as subnautica but the SFX are on point
idk how to explain it but I kinda wish we could combine Subnautica and Below Zero in to one game, yknow? kinda like how fallout's DLCs work.
cuz to be honest, I do like subnautica more, but Below Zero has some neat stuff (also, bz has way better lighting and land bases)

so the prawn suit has around 10 "velocity units" according to the debug screen, but moving diagonally backwards shows a velocity of 14~
and if you move diagonally backwards while holding jump and you have a tether attached somewhere above you; you move with the speed of using the boosters but the "boost meter" decreases like when youre just moving whilst falling

So about the Emily Dickinson poem in the PDA. ||Has there been any discussion about the implications that Al-An has relatively recent earth poems in his database? The first game implied the precursors had been taken out by Kharaa for around 800 years (most recent item was the 13th century sword), but the precursor database has detailed knowledge of poems from 200 years ago. Makes you wonder how recent their last activity has been.||
Alternatively, this could be a MAJOR plot hole. ||The first game establishes that a 96 yo precursor is considered very young, implying it is not that long for them. Al-An repeatedly says he's been in containment for a long time, implying he had to have been disconnected from his species for several hundred years. If he hasn't been able to access the network for a few hundred years, even if there are precursors elsewhere still studying earth, he wouldn't have access to their newer information, and therefore the way he knows about Emily Dickinson does not make any sense. We know it couldn't have been from Alterra or from Robin's memories, as the PDA entry on Hope claims it came from his database.||

Prawn feels a lot different in terms of controls, it has a kinda delay on the horizontal movement that makes it feel more robotic, and the boost feels a lot weaker overall. But it has a speed boost and functions a lot better.

There are fragments ||in the mining site, which is basically an underwater cave system west of the island with the base on it. There are more prawn suit fragments in the crashed ship pieces, so I would check those.||
