Snowfox is fun, fast und slient. Prawn is for dilling, but that is all personal preference. Some people love prawn others are in favour of snowfox. I use both. If I need to gather lots of resources and have to drill ore veins, then prawn it is. To go quickly around and have fun, I use the snowfox.

Probabely, its OK on PC and it needs practice of course. Once you get the hang of it its pure fun. But that might be individual preferences.

I mean, everybody who is in favour of prawn with grappling arm also did not master it the first time it was used. It needs time to practice. I planted around 100 light sticks in arctic spires and glacial basin to mark a west-arctic-highway-system for the snowfox. Now I can really zap around and never get lost (almost 🙂 )

the one you like the most. Early game I would just stay next/near your drop pod. Its save and you know the area by now.

I built my base exactly here: -279.2, -4.8, -103.2 and I think its the best place to start. But that is highly subjective of course.

But by now I have 20 bases in all biomes, underwater and on land, and I love them all. You can even build on top of a lilypad.

the seamonkeys only give you stuff because of ||AlAn in your head||, Once you build the ||body and transfered AlAn|| the seamonkeys go back to their normal behaviour of stealing stuff from you. That is how the game works. But at this point, you dont need their help anymore 🙂

When the sea monkeys steal from me, the journal entry about sea monkeys is unlocked where it had already been unlocked - so something got reset

Many things got reset after the seatruck dock update, but it does not change the behaviour. If you do not have ||AlAn|| in your head, you dont get treats from seamonkeys, before and after the update. Lucky for me, many resources respawned after the update, I could fill up my inventory again with valuable resources. Also many PDAs are around again, but you cannot pick them up, very odd. Many boxes that have been opened are closed again with the stuff inside. And many blueprint boxes can be aquired again, but they give you titanium, because you already have the blueprint. Same with many fragments that re-appeared and can be scanned. So, yes, it was quite a severe update

Hello. I need urgent help, please.
A while ago, I wanted to play Subnautica Below Zero. When I loaded into the game I noticed that I had only 17 hours, not 20 hours. I thought that maybe an update caused my save files to go somewhere. I was a bit sad but I made some progress, and I decided to explore the entirety of the Mercury II. When I left, I noticed I was on a different account, and that a world from my account, merged into a different account, just with a previous save. When I went back on my account, I had the full 20 hours, so the update didn't make me lose anything.
I decided to explore the Mercury II AGAIN now that im on my main account, but ALL the entities, drops, PDA's EVERYTHING was gone. It was as if I explored the area there, but I didn't have anything.
I know I haven't explored the Mercury II before on my main account, so the 2 accounts must have somehow merged again and it's annoying.

TL;DR: Is there anyway to get specific PDA's, and if so does anyone have a list of ID's for them? If not, is there any way to reset a specific location, like the parts of the Mercury II?
I know there's a command ency 'ID/ALL', but I don't know any of the ID's and I don't want all of the PDA's. I still haven't finished the game yet, as I play for an hour every couple months as I love the game so much.

Squirrel, the game saves the world in your CellsCache folder.

Removing files in there will regenerate the entities in batches, part of the world.

So if you don't want to bother to know which file you have to delete, you could just delete the entire folder.

Otherwise you have to know the batch index you're in.

Go to the location, press F1, note the camera batch.

Then remove baked-batch-cells-XX-grp0.zip/baked-batch-cells-XX-YY-ZZ.bin.

I'm colorblind and it's very difficult to play the game because the color values are all very close together. I know the new release says "Other additions include: Adding the TextMeshPro plugin, to improve UI readability and visual quality" but I haven't noticed an improvement in the accessibility for those with colorblindness. Then farm up prawn resource

You only get one signal, and you have to find the other parts yourself. He says "there is something nearby" when you get close to one.

Aside from the signal, one of them is on land, the second is close to where you fabricate it.

I think there are 6 different ones, but you can have duplicates.
