Litareally anything that grows nearby. I just put a plant pot next to it an feed it now and then. But there is an entire table of what gives the best output, never bothered with it. Just shovel in what you have.

Until phi robotic center you are save and snow stalker are afraid of the flare, so no problem there. But flares run out, so have spare ones with you 🙂

Correct, prawn suit is not necessary, seatruck is better because it has the zapper. But once you want to drill resources you need prawn and drill arm. Also you can build it just for completeness.

I use the prawn on land when I go for resource gathering and mining. Otherwise I have my 4 snowfoxes. I have illuminted a highway system in Glacial Basin and Arctic spires and can zapp around with my snowfox even at night and in darkness. But again, all pesonal preference, everybody can play they way he wants.

i love below zero but it’s story felt a little short, i took my time with a save and took like 7 hours my most recent one took 13 hours because i spent like 4 hours clearing the world edge of resources

There are the famous Youtube video of a guy how builds models of BZ scenes and one was the ice worm with the snowfox. I LOVE IT.

By now, I cleared the ENTIRE map of all resource. Cristal Cavern is totally empty. And I am sooo happy that many resources respawned after the seatruck dock update. So I could go mining again. Even the three ||piles of ion cubes|| came back. WOW. Also the or deposits in ||koppa mine|| in the buckets came back partially.
