Add some growbeds, maybe add a second moonpool so you have access to both vehicles, and just generally adding more rooms. Id get a different power source from solar before you really get to expanding tho

A.B.C or Alterra bio center is a sea base built by alterra basically to mutate enzyme 42 the same way ||alterra mutated kharaa during the on going events of subnautica BZ.|| (this takes place 2 years after BZ) They also have been researching the well known alien race the Precursors! They happen to be studying the warper species to learn the bio-mechanical ingenuity of the internals of said being. This seabase is loaded with (not as of right now) a full cafeterium, 2 prawn and seamoth charging bays and scanner technology, 5 research areas for different biological study, 4 mid sized bedrooms, and finally a seamoth and prawn parking area! This seabase is very important to alterra and only sends the highest level intellect employees to work here, thus having easy access to LR and LZs. That's all as of right now but when I finish the build lore might change. Thanks for reading!

The only modded part is the color (sleek bases + base colorizer) and a couple of furniture items. Other than that it's totally possible to do in vanilla.

The trick with bioreactor is you put in good food. All the items that go in have an energy value which makes them last longer

Instead of just putting it in the first available spot, usually island bases are hard to do because of the terrain and vegetation, so finding a good spot can prove challenging

The game is better in construction for sure. Music, locations and opponents at the level of the original game, but it is much worse in plot, atmosphere of fear of the unknown and complexity.

People overestimate how hard it is to get the items. Lead, advanced wiring kit and titanium isn't that hard, same for the rods.

Right? Especially when basic materials spawn everywhere and keep spawning over time

I've got one in pretty much every base I have (and I have close to 10) and I would say it's actually least annoying one of all the generators.

• solar is slow, doesn't work during the night and it's useless during the night.
• thermal requires building your base around thermal vents, and is annoying to properly set up, while producing very low (free tbf) ammounts
• you have to costantly shove stuff in the bioreactor or the whole place goes dark.

Meanwhile nuclear: build generator -> make 4 rods -> have energy for the whole story and more 🗿

They also forget that the thing can produce 80000 energy with 4 rods at and at a fast pace.

One single power plant is gonna be extremely annoying to build. Unless you are willing to make the whole thing count as a single base with disconnected pieces (if you remove all the base pieces between 2 base segments, it will still count as 1 base, sharing the power, while still being separated buildings), your only option is solar or thermal which are both terrible for what you want.
