An investigative reporter gets the gig to go to this place to explore and find out how 1000 residents went missing in a small town called Vulture City in Arizona. While he is driving his radio goes to static and strange messages are heard, in the road he sees something in the road. With his morals he tries to avoid crashing into it by turning left. He ends up hitting "it" anyways and crashes off the road into some rocks. He ends up breaking open his left leg and getting glass and other materials lodged up his legs and arms. He is suffering from multiple injuries and bleeding and ends up passing out. Weeks later he wakes up from the horrible injury to the sight of a man named Jonah. Jonah introduces himself and tells him their are a few other survivors.
