@smoky wren I feel for you. Sometimes SAI has a tendency to just freeze up and it will close my program before I've saved, so I make sure I save VERY often. I know it can be easy to get lost in the art and forget, but when stuff like this happens, it helps you remember. Lol. Good luck!

perspective is a tough thing and the best I can say is: do not be afraid to use references and 3D models. there's loads of free reference tools out there for you to use. Posemaniacs comes to mind for bodies, and if you have windows 10 you should have a tool clled 3D builder that can give you a flat griddded plane to work off of

it's mainly suited for illsutration and not so much text editing or vectors

I also have clip studio paint that I've been messing around with mreo since it has way mreo featureas whiles till being relivitely simple to use

those have liscencing fees attached to thm tho

if you want a free art tool, I reccomend Medibang (which also works on mobile devices), FireAlpaca, and Krita (works on Linux machines)
