I've been drawing for honestly about 20 years now, and only in the past 10 or so would I say I've improved at all, but even then I'm still nowhere near the level of all the artists out there that I admire and who inspire me

#

but I still do it cause that's how I express myself and get my ideas out there since otherwise no one else will do the things I want to see so I have to do them myself

#

also I just love being able help bring people's ideas and creations to life; it makes me feel ;like I'm really contributing something to the world with it, even if it's just for one person or a handful of people

#

The mesh is a bit jagged, the subdivision smooths it out.

I'm sorry, but are you trying to make it sound like you actually redid the whole drawing? Because you are clearly just coloring printed images. It's pretty easy to tell if you pay attention. Just making sure, because there's nothing worse than people claiming the did something they clearly did not do. But it's good you are exercising your coloring, it's always good to improve. 🙂

To reach that level of drawing quality you need to know a lot about art, and, wherever you learned to draw that well, you must have learned more about coloring in the process.
