they only aggro onto you once the early access red text is on ur screen and de-aggro when it dissapears. lure then close then back up behind the red boarder so they de aggro and just swim near you. itll take some time but u can slowly fill out the scan bar

if you go to the alien area, there is a spot right before the open stretch, towards the tadpole bays, before the collector's area. in this spot if you have resonator, there is probably 100 or so clumps of titanium. i have filled my whole inv and a whole haler tadpole up about 4 times with titanium and there is still so much more left. go there if you need titanium
