The majority of the model is made in blender, node compositing + shaders, then the bg/body/head are rendered separately (with the mesh separated once rigged so it sticks with the bones)

Everything is exported as rgba png series
Then the png animations are converted to sprite sheets
Sprite sheets imported to pngtuber+ remix (i have to use the latest beta release for this) and from there the rest of the model work is within remix

Bro last time I used blender I could barely make a sphere 😭 ur so talented

The beta release is a bit unstable at times but! It will keep sprite sheets playing when not in use so you can avoid using gifs (which bug the program out)

Thanks, I get that though! Blender is tough. It took me a good couple of years to get bold enough to go back to it
Low poly things are a nice start for me because I dont have to worry about everything being perfect, just about it looking okay enough to draw on with textures, and those textures are pixel art because ultimately the whole thing will be crunched in size enough that perfect detail wont matter too much

Purposely styled in a way that makes all my beginner mistakes or quirks less noticeable. Thats the fun thing about art, you can cheat a bit sometimes LOL

I'm a artist and a mod developer, was partly inspired by Subnautica for my Minecraft mod so I wanted to share some of it here

LORE: CRIM-S0N is infected with the Kharaa bacterium, but it’s technically only their gems that are infected, nobody knows why that’s the only thing corrupted. So because it’s only the gems, the Kharaa cant fully break down CRIM-S0N’s immune system, which basically leaves them in a perpetual state of torment. Because their body is able to fight it off because it only is able to infect small portions of them, but it’s still giving them pain and fatigue. :3

And also still leaving them slightly vulnerable to other bacteria
