My another creature idea, sleeping siren, this name originated from their unique abilities like rarily making sounds that would pop up on players interface as "unidentified signal", they live in void and the more u swim into the void the more of them will be there, they usually dont move thats why they are named "sleeping siren", if they move they are very slow, they are ambush predator and tentacle like tongues help them lure prey and eat them, these red things on sides are sensory organs that detect movement around, thats why player should slowly swim around them in vehicle or not get close, they are small leviathan class creatures (around 15m in lenght) that are related to shadow leviathan

sorry i coudnt get back to you but i used a program called 2d design and traced an image then i sent to to my teacher so he could lazer cut the design on to mirrored acrilic then i got a peice of coloured acrilic and heated a lower section then i curved it into a shape and used double sided tape to attach it

So I thought that sleeping siren could be a larval form of shadow leviathan so I added some behaviors to both, shadow leviathans from different regions during the egg laying period would swim out to the void to lay them there, these would float there and after a while from about 85% of the eggs hatch little sleeping siren's which then start eating, their lifestyle is eating and waiting for a prey, when the right time comes and the sleeping siren is sufficiently fed it pupates into shadow leviathan (only 10% of sleeping siren would pupate into shadow leviathan due to too little food or lack of enzymes which are supplied to the sleeping siren's body by eating appropriate creatures so most of them would stay their entire life as a larva) which then would look for a nearby cave in which it can live and grow into an adult

Idk which one is better, this leviathan is related to chelicerate leviathan and its name is jaw-limb leviathan, they are longer than chelicerate (around 70m) but skinnier, they swim like a snake but on the tail there are still visible vestigal caudal fins, slowly lost during evolution, their jaws can not only extend (the jaws are coming out of the jaws that are coming out of the jaws) but they can also move them like insects their legs

Modern Sea Turtles have an under part of their shell called a Plastron, adding something like that would work. Also, It could dwell closer to the seafloor, so predators are forced to attack it from above where its shell would protect it

Since part of its diet is kelp, I assume they would love to hang around the Kelp Forests. I like the glowy bits on its head, Maybe adding more on its head or body that looks like Creepvine clusters would be cool. Could also change the body color from Blue to Greens to help it blend in with the green waters and kelp forests

One more thing, not a design thing per say but a "lore" addition. Sea Turtles irl like eating Jellyfish, and in the Kelp forests you can find Drooping Stingers which look jellyfish like. I can imagine baby Surfers eating those Jellyfish and maybe gaining their electric shock while small. So when a predator tries to eat a baby one it gets badly shocked and spits it back out

I did this quick doodle cuz I thought it would be cool if really old surfers end up having Creepvines growing off their chins/mouth and it could look like a beard, reflecting their age.
