I mean they're used for scaring off leviathans and such I'm pretty sure. Don't bother using them on the ||prawn suit|| or seamoth since it's pretty useless and is just simply outclassed by every other arm. To get the other arms you can just watch a YT video to get them if you don't want to waste your time

which is why you prioritise the radiation suit as soon as you get the blueprint
