it wont matter if you want you can build there. you can make small bases in deep biomes to be in good shape or use a cyclops

Eh depends where your pod is, if its in a really shallow area I wouldn't build next to it, plus the safe shallows doesn't have many resources outside copper and titanium, anywhere I'd suggest building in an area that kinda deep (no less than 100m for good solar) and directly besides the shallows, kelp forest and grassy plateus

I did that once again and now its working on a new save file but on my current save I'm still getting nothing, I redid my entire power system and replaced it with a nuclear reactor, I tried causing and repairing multiple leaks, I got rid of half my base and used bulkheads to try and narrow it down to a single room that's maybe causing the issue but nothing seems to be working

Subnautica 1 and below zero are available on switch, as well as the absolutely gargantuan switch catalogue of games. If you get tired of subnautica and below zero, start looking for other switch games. Shantae's great, breath of the wild's phenominal, dragon quest builders 2 is great and has a demo that took me 25 hours to beat, diablo has a few entries on switch, smash ultimate's great for beginners. since its near the aurora that must be the southwest mushroom forest

go northwest from there and theres a major biome waiting for you

though it is dangerous, watch out for ||bone sharks|| and you're fine

I've met some bone sharks. Would that major biome be safe to build a base? My current one is near pod 17 because it seemed like an area with a fair bit to do. And while the sand sharks don't attack the base, it's irritating having them rise up from the sand constantly.
