Do lights change how easy it is for creatures to detect you? Or is it really only just sound? I noticed that on the cyclops, if you have the engine powered off, but your fllodlights on. Enemies don't seem to attack, nor does the little sound bubble on that hologram to your right change in size. Though that bubble only indicates sound profile I think, rather than detection radius

like one specific glitch that spontaniously husks out a couple save files every couple months

i am NOT going through the whole prototype sub misunderstanding thing again

i prolly downloaded a mod and forgot what it did like what happened with the prototype sub and all those tunnels

so explanation for the prototype sub thing- its a submarine mod that added precursor tunnels around my world, and i did not know it was more than just a submarine mod. so when all these random tunnels started appearing and lead to some huge crossraods room you can tell I probably thought my game was haunted

and theres also this glitch that sometimes leaves my worlds completely barren of life. at the time i thought they were connected so i investigated the tunnels. one came to life, bla bla blah... i thought i was going insane until one person pointed out i had the prototype mod and its what caused it
