anyway, here's some info on the garge. when this creature still roamed the planet, the immense size of its body would likely have prevented it from surviving within the crater, as it is more than half the 2 kilometer diameter of the entire structure. as little is known of life outside of the crater, it is not clear what it could have preyed on or if the prey species still exists: the most likely living species would be the reefback.

these creatures were likely very long-lived with a low reproductive rate, as a large population of them would very quickly outpace the ability of prey species to repopulate.

Out side the safe shallows (spawn area) there’s some large kelp (big underwater plants) that you’ll want to head over to. There’s these little sandstone nodes that drop silver, lead, and gold.

Multiple yes, but with gel sack you can get infinite seeds from one. If you hit it three times you get three spores and it vanishes. But if you hit twice and pick it up and then plant again, you can repeat the process. Every other plant has upper limit to seeds/spores/samples you get from one.

Well creepvine seed clusters, lantern fruit and blood oil can be infinite from one plant since these 'fruits' regrow on the plant when picked up, but it takes time to regrow...gel sack glitch is faster.

you get 4 seeds from one marblemelon. you get them at once but is that REALLY different to getting 3 seeds from the gelsack one at a time

like ok I might have been mistaken, it could be a glitch that they are given one at a time, but I really don't think it affects anything all that much

even if you had to wait grow more, you need them so little compared to how fast they grow, they are still infinite and it's basically just as effective

The point is that gel sack is different in every other plant in a way that you can pick it up after slicing and that resets the 'cut counter'🤷‍♂️

Marblemelons also have a funny property: if you have rotten melon in your inventory, you can plant it amd it instantly becomes fresh again (also then it uses 4 slots in growbed compared to 1 slot when planted from seed).
