Because in a survival situation Food, Water, and Cuddles are the most important things.

I'd put tools or specific items for progression but you never know where someone is at. I got a Time Capsule with the laser cutter, scanner, repair tool and habitat builder, but I already had all of those so now the duplicate is sitting in my equipment locker.

But the one thing I always find myself running out of when I'm venturing far too deep into places I should not be is food and water.

One thing to consider is that tools are mostly useless if the finder has already crafted them, whereas crafting materials can be used to craft what the finder needs. Some people also like the limited decorative items🤷‍♂️

One of the robot arms is at a wreck N of life pod 3, the other are at other wrecks, never can remember exactly where.

To break it down simply, the ||Vehicle Upgrade Console gives you the vehicle upgrades, same as the Modification Station. VUC is by life pod 19 and MS is found in wrecks. The VUC needs to be build in a moonpool attached to a base with power and MS can be built in base or in cyclops||

Charging batteries is definitely easier and better than having to make hundreds of them. Especially as you progress through the game

Arm: Go to life pod 3, turn N and dive under a floating island to about maybe 200m while going forward. There's a giant wreck there but also predators so be careful. There's a good change a MS fragment is there too, it's different every time honestly

What you can also do is build a scanner in waters about 100m deep and search for wrecks that way. Sometimes MS fragments can be found in the Mushroom Forest as well
