This happened to me with a beacon on the mountain island beach. I think it has to do with the weird physics thing that makes far away loose items fall through the ground or just causing general weirdness with far away items affected by physics. It’s the same glitch that makes stalker teeth disappear and will make your seamoth permanently stuck 50 meters above the surface if a reaper jumps it while you’re not inside

The seamoth thing happened to me. It was tragic but served as a good beacon when I needed to know where the back of the aurora was

Theres 3 juveniles in the lost river, one by each entrance (one of them is by both the kelp trench and deep reef entrance. BZ does some things better than the first game and some worse. I think it is best to remember that it wasn’t meant to be this massive expansive sequel to the first. It’s a DLC that wound up becoming a spin-off game

yea kinda feels claustrophobic with that giant glacier restricting exploration behind the pod, and the small map too. its nice when you find the silver and gold vein thats close to the drop pod though

Nightmare is a bit of an overstatement. The smaller map actually works fine until the land area

Actually not really. You can skip nearly the entire land area to beat the game

You never actually have to go to Phi Robotics or the Excavation site or any of that

Just the spires I believe which you can get through in like minutes

And that’s where my main issue comes in. Why does beating BZ require so little?

Overall though I do think Below Zero is quite overhated. I love building bases in that game and the aesthetic quite a bit. Love the creatures too
