This might sound crazy, but I'd recommend your first playthrough without a map (use beacons to mark locations). The world will feel infinitely larger that way. Otherwise, google Subnautica Mods and do a little digging, you'll find instructions easy enough. (This being my second message in the server, I'm not entirely comfortable giving explicit instructions or dropping any links).

(That being said, I actually prefer playing WITH the map, but without allowing use of any beacons to navigate by. I find it much more immersive and engaging to open a map, check which biomes I'll be going through, and have to pay attention to the geography rather than just following a beacon marker on my HUD)

yes the big glass ones and yes modded. i found a thread on reddit about this issues and all it says is to try to build another and that didnt fix it and then to delete ny visible lockers mod and i did and it still didnt work.

i had downloaded a new mod before this happened and i deleted that too and it also didnt fix it

I’d probably remove all mods including BepInEx and see if the issue persists on true vanilla Subnautica

Then add the mods that could be causing the problem one by one to find out which one it is

My personal favorite way to revert to vanilla is to select all Subnautica files and delete them then verify integrity (which you should do no matter what method you use)

I’m just so in love with BZ, I hear the complaints people have and I wanna hear from those who absolutely hate it why they think it is so bad. I think a janitor could also handle more simple ‘critical’ systems, like cleaning them or replacing a warning light, or if more important critical systems are being handled meaning all staff is taken
