Some of them yes. The blacklisted items were retroactively removed so it is not possible for you to get something that was added to the list later.

That is also the reason why you can find empty capsules.

Once you send a capsule and all the items are blacklisted the whole capsule is removed if there is no item left.

But that isn't the case if the time capsule is in the active pool.

So if you get a time capsule with no item, that probably means the item(s) that was/were placed there have been added to the blacklist later.

I need to tell this story to someone who actually cares.

I started fooling around with mods. I installed the Alien Prototype mod, built the new vehicle, decided I didn't like it as much as the other vehicles, so I installed the Randomizer.

Randomizer is super challenging and I loved it. Played for hours. It randomizes fragments too so I have blueprints for the Prawn suit, Cyclops, etc, but no Vehicle builder. After 10 hours of swimming the novelty of challenge is wearing off and getting to deep wrecks to look for fragments is getting harder and harder even with my three 9x9 tanks.

Brainwave: I never removed the Prototype mod! All I have to do is get to the mod's vehicle builder and I get a sub! So I load up on floaters and hoverfish and other essential base-building materials and go the the mod's vehicle builder and plunk down my "Single X-tube with a Solar Panel" base.

So you know that speedrunner trick where they get scannables from wrecks by building a piece of base that collides with the wreck and the resulting glitch removes the wreck?
I broke the vehicle builder.

Its just gone and with it my hopes of having a ship to use to finally explore enough wrecks to find the propulsion gun I need to get into the Aurora. (I got the one fragment inside the Aurora top level but the mod forces you to get more scans before getting a blueprint.)

The place you are looking for is on the south end of the map so if you are in the north you have to run at least one gauntlet.

Basically, yes. The whole game takes place on a plateau. I'll spare you anxiety of exploring it by just warning you that it borders the map on all sides and there is nothing out there but leviathans.

Basically the Degassi survivors decided living on the island was not a long-term survival strategy so they built another base under the water to escape the storms. Follow their journey narratively and literally.

Unless you just want to take the shortcut to nickel: ||It's found in the Lost River around 600m down. You will have to find special cave entrances for it but I can describe them.||

The are multiple entrances to the Lost River.
|| 1. More or less straight down from the Survivor's Island into the Grand Reef, past the base they built there, then down until you see green.
2. Near the intersection of the North Blood Kelp area, the Underwater Islands, and the Mushrooms.
3. In the Southern Blood Kelp
4. Northeast, North of lifepod 12 on the border with the Mountains.||

Bring plenty of beacons to mark stuff you want to come back to and stick close to walls. Don't scan the nickel because the scanner can help you spot it.

I was at first in the lost river which I thought I had explored pretty extensively but then I found the area ||with the cuddlefish egg, giant skeleton, and research scans (small room with 3 ion cubes)|| I was originally looking for kynite as I kinda gave up on the ||cuddlefish egg|| cuz a bunch of ppl on here were trying to direct me but I still couldn’t find it. Anyway I was exploring (I entered from the bulb zone) trying to find the tree I was just at a couple hours ago in the pic (stunning) cuz someone said right off of that was kynite. Could not find where I just was at all haha. Anyway I ended up popping back out in the ||grand reef|| which I didn’t want to do in my prawn because I didn’t know how to orient my way out and avoid reapers like I do the ||bulb zone||

It depends what you call easier. One titanium deposit breaks into 8 pieces, you get one or two each time, so you get an average of 12 titanium ores from one deposit. One metal salvage gives you 4 titanium ores. But deposits in surface biomes are in Dunes, Crash Zone, Bulb Zone. You have more metal salvages.
