Unless absolutely necessary, get rid of the platforms. They of course can be good for certain things like row beds but otherwise take away from the atmosphere. Keep the moonpool as is. Use those two 4-ways on one side of the base, your choice. Connect the scanner room to one of those four ways

Main:

• Keep the moon pool as is
• From the wide side, add a 4-way.
• Add the other 4-way to the first on going in the same direction
• Add the scanner room to the end of those two

Misc

• Get rid of the platforms
  or
• Move them somewhere else (be attached to the base or not) and then place grow beds on top for a garden

You build thermal plant in hot area (usually near heat vents or lava geysers). Then you either build base close by or use power transmitters to get power from thermal plant to your base

If you look at the thermal plant, you should see how much power it has (x/250). Your base needs to be close enough to connect via blue line or build power transmitters to have blue line connecting the plant and your base
