Radio signals aren't just there to guide you to their lifepod, then you have to explore the area they are in, like wrecks, caves, biomes.

The biome it's in is a bit cryptic but it's in the ||Lost River||.

So start going there, and then go down until you reach the depth.

The biome has four different entrances. But usually people find them close to another point of interest.

If you didn't go to the ||Degasi Deep Grand Reef||, I would advice you to go there.

There is a signal for it in the ||Jellyshroom Degasi base||.

Inside a locker in the multipurpose room where you enter it.

Not only you'll find one of the entrance in the Deep Grand Reef, but you'll also unlock the signal for lifepod 2.

As for your earlier question, you can enter the endgame biomes with your Prawn Suit, but also with a Cyclops.

It isn't a beacon you place, it's a signal you unlock when grabbing PDAs. If you don't have it, start from lifepod 17.

When you enter a base, the items you gathered are marked so they won't be dropped on death anymore.

That's why you lose the ones you got before entering a base.

For starters, scan everything

I've been playing for a while, but only recently got discord, but if I were to give any advice, focus on getting the seaglide, then habitat tool - your base doesn't have to be anything amazing either (unless ur like me and like building good looking bases) - obviously you'll need the scanner tool for that, so get that and do what @timid hemlock just said - and try to close off the radiation in || the aurora when it explodes||, it seems like a lot, but can be pretty easy if you take it slow and steady, dont rush anything.
