Besides i don’t think a harpoon gun would really be all that game breaking or powerful even. Given theres so many ways in just the first game to make em trivial.

if the game was trying to be scary, all the hostile creatures wouldnt constantly be notifying you that theyre there or about to attack

its a somewhat delicate balance though. bz really whiffed it with the leviathans (||ice worm|| can die for all i care)

Easy fix, either make the fragments of the guns themselves spawn in deep and/or dangerous biomes so you have to be around mid or late game to get em or risk death to get em early. Or make a “survival pistol” where ots more for hunting small game and as deterrent for smaller preds (like crab worms and the such) but make it almost useless on larger predators and completely useless on leviathans. And make the ammo limited for both

Well, technically is was a short find and destroy mission where I took my armed to the teeth prawn suit down with my cyclops to kill all the ghost Leviathans in the lost river, but I messed up and didn't repair in time so he destroyed my prawn suit so now I'm collecting the materials to rebuild it and all is upgrade modules.

this can be really helpful later since melons grow 4 entire ones in one effective slot (since they take a 2x2). since theres 4 in 1 slot theyre shrunk to fit and their hitboxes are smaller and even more wonky. if you just take them out and put one in the planter, you get a full size melon with a matching hitbox

well, yes and no. the lights have literally no effect on power consumption (this is true for all vehicles)
engine efficiency only affects the cost of moving, not the power used by utilities inside
also keep in mind silent running eats a lot of power (1 unit every second) no matter what state the ship is in. it does nothing but eat all your power when the engine is off and tbh isnt particularly helpful, it also slows you down since all it does is reduce the aggro range. you cant reduce it further than 0
as for movement... theres some weirdness with how the game determines how much power it uses but in the end youre always getting the exact amount of distance for your energy spent, as opposed to the seamoth

ribs has spikes that look in because there were some muscles and organs

I researched if its possible and yes its possible in fosilisation process

after looking how human rib conencts with spine I understood that its true

because our ribs bend inward at the junction with the spine
