I have a fun idea for a base though. For every biome, build an aquarium with what the biome has in it. This can be done in a multipurpose room or a large room. Also, placing to rooms (large or not) directly above each other and building aquariums inside the will connect the aquariums.
As an example: Safe Shallows has acid mushrooms, these grass plants and the veined nettle to put in the aquarium growbed. The creatures would be peepers, holefish, bumerangs, gasopods, these bomb fish and rabbit rays. I might have missed some, but you probably get the point.

I'm not sure they count as a biome. Using cheats, biome names can be displayed on your screen. What IS a biome though, is the Observatory Zen. Also, scanner rooms can display the backrooms at a certain location.

Below zero had less threats, and I liked being in a self sustaining seatruck: aquarium collects food, filtration suit covers water, and swim charge fins cover battery charge
