Guys here's my plan for my playthrough: build 1 mega base,2 big bases,4 outposts,3 emergency stations and hq,5 medium bases/colonies (attached with platforms to a already existing base in he biome),the rest small,3 destroyed bases for scene,4 transport posts,2 markets,2 cities and 1 Hotel. Distributed to every biome and sub-biome

Question: where will i find all that titanium🥀

take a cyclops with as many lockers as you can fit in it with a fabricator (obv, your cyclops should have a fabricator anyway), take a prawn with full storage modules, take a scanner, repair tool, flashlight, go to any biome on the outside of the map, make 3 scanner rooms next to each other, set them to salvage, node, and fragment
the prawn should have a grapple arm since youre foregoing the jump jet upgrade for space, you can use the last inventory tile for the drill arm and swap between drill/claw to mine the nodes and grab the salvage respectively

you should probably figure out how many ingots you need and prioritize making ingots, then filling the rest with loose titanium

id recommend keeping the fabricator in the cyclops rather than moving it to the base, you can recharge the cells with it instead (or just park next to a hotspot with the thermal reactor)
youre probably also going to want a nuclear reactor since it takes little maintenance and should outproduce 3 scanner rooms

naturally in those areas youre going to be in leviathans personal space, but its not really a problem as long as you turn the engine off. they might accidentally hit the cyclops right as you dock but its pretty easy to wait for them to leave before trying to get in

dont even need speed upgrades on the scanners

Normally players don't need to worry about resources running out in Subnautica....for example there's more than 20k titanium available (not even counting the extra you get from scanning known tech)

the loop goes like this

• jump out of the cyclops in the prawn with both inventories empty (except the 3 tools and drill arm)
• wander around in the prawn, going to the places the scanner rooms point out
• when you come across a node, equip the drill arm and unequip once youre done (unless youre going right to another obv)
• when you come across a salvage, just nab it with the claw arm
• when you come across a fragment, jump out, scan, get back in
• theres going to be lots of getting out to move stuff between inventories to make room for more stuff
• once youre completely full head back. its important to have as few tools as possible to maximize your storage cap per run, so we go with 4 slots since that is the most we can use while maximizing the amount of salvage (and kinda loose titanium from scans, since its 2 per scan. this gets messed up with the nodes dropping random amounts though so not foolproof) which is the least effort per individual titanium (not counting the effot to break it down but youre going to be fabricating anyway for the ingots and fabricating it all at once is easier)
• dock with the cyclops, immediately go start breaking down your salvage since it needs that extra step, in between fabrications you can drop off titaniums to the lockers if youre quick enough (im not)
• once youve broken down all the salvage in your inventory, empty it completely. if you still need to make ingots, clear out inventory that way. you want a completely empty inventory (no tools) since the fully upgraded storage is the same as your inventory i believe. if its not, you can keep the tools but you still want to empty your inventory
• with the empty inventory, go back and take the stuff from the prawn and repeat the fabricator part
• ignore the leviathans, theyre weak against the prawn. just repair once youre out of their area (or when they leave you alone)
• once both inventories are empty, jumpt back in the prawn and head out, repeat the whole thing
