I have watched Sn speedruns. Not once do they ever visit a single Degasi base to progress the story, not even in glitchless. ||The Deep Grand Reef Degasi|| base does help you discover ||a Lost River entrance|| which is in the same biome but players can also find the other entrances on their own and still progress. It's probably helpful to go there but idk if it's absolutely neccesary
