start at the thrusters and simply swim to the middle of the Aurora Backsite then swim south. You will find them. They are small and close to the void. But very beautiful.

the void ghosts are aduld ghosts but they will never leave you alone. not like in other biomes. engine off in your cyclops is like stealth mode.

and it's hard to get a cyclops so damaged that it will sink. I tried with reapers and it took me half an hour behind the aurora. they do barely any damage.

Use a power cell charger the cells empty one after another so a single one is enough and it charges very fast. make a second set of power cells and you will always have enough power. always use slow mode for driving and the energy efficiency module is mandatory. and never use fast mode or silent rig and only ping with radar when you need it. usually you don't need it. decoys and power off engine is the way to go.

And don't use your cyclops lights you see better with it off.

This is actually gonna be my second 100% run, I’m planning on collecting everything like every scan, every piece of data (and this time actually reading the data, have you checked the one inside the captain’s room? Felt very random, couldn’t understand it) every plant seed, every egg, every wreck AND I’m going to build one main base in the grassy plateaus somewhere beside lifepod 17 and the rest of the bioms will have scanner rooms, in my last playthrough I had a main base in the grassy plateaus and smaller “emergency” bases in the mushroom forest, the dunes, blood kelp zone and inactive lava zone. This time it’s a little different and I wanna use my cyclops more as a portable base (hopefully I won’t drain its batteries too fast, maybe I should apply ion powercells instead)

One of them hit my cyclops hard it turned vertically and I found myself sliding all over the place! Thankfully I was in creative mode. I have to say my favorite mode is freedom because I love exploring every inch and I like collecting and using resources instead of wasting my inventory on food and water and having to cut my trips short to go back and get more consumables..

But I DID finish the game in survival mode once but it wasn’t a 100% run, took me 23 hours to beat

I travel all over the map and haven't loaded my cyclops once. because I always drive in slow mode and don't use other modules than decoys. that safes a lot of power. a spare set of power cells is my way to go but when you have the blueprint for ion power cells go for it. and yes I got all pdas. this from the captains room too.

you know the most callenging thing for me was to collect all available purple tablets. it's not part of 100% but difficult to go everywhere. there's one at the top of mountain island you have to go there through the caves it took me days to find this way. it's a labyrinth.

you can sleep when you're waiting for power cells to load.

you also can build a bed in your cyclops that's what I do.

I like to spend time in my saves so I usually have at least 2 cyclops and around 5 prawn suites in different locations. But I usually bring the prawn only. because you finish all surface matters before you move underground.

Surface matters depend on your play... I like to do 100% runs means getting every pda, datadownload and scan possible and of course get all 5 special eggs. that's for me surface actions. But it's not necessary to beat the game.

Each slot (possible location) is independent. The game doesn't care about how many of them were spawned when you trigger the RNG for new slots. You just get an average because of the probability magic.
