You mean that you picked it up and then lost it? If you died with it in your inventory, it's dropped on the spot you died. If it was in seamoth or prawn inventory and the vehicle was destroyed, it's gone for good. People have put posters in time capsules so it's possible to get extra posters.

hello, why is it that everytime i leave and re-enter the world the scanner room looses the ability to find many items?

i always have to explore around the base for the scanner room to detect more things even though it's within the range

It's a game feature: scanner room only finds resources that are loaded. When reloading a save you have to swim around to load terrain and resources for it to find.

Note that it doesn't change what was around before saving and reloading

it doesnt make much sense to me, the scanner room should be able to detect everything within it's range no matter if the player has been there previously or not

i would understand it working the way it does if it was like a portable scanner that was inside the player's inventory or something

It's basically game loading issue. When you reload a save, only a small part of the map is loadef before you swim around and load more of the map🤷‍♂️

with the decision of removing legacy and 2023 version on steam I think they killed most part of the community including me because of the mod compatibility. DLC sized mods as the Return of The Ancients are no longer playable, and the mod community needs to wait probably several months until update of mayority of the mods they played. I hope in a soon future we can access this versions again

I have only found 1 and i searched almost all the possible spawning areas

Like aurora under water cave which i found 1 from and i searched almost all wrecks

Possible cyclops engine fragment locations:
-Aurora cargo bay
-near wreck in underwater islands
-crag field (whole biome)
-mountains (whole biome, possible to find safely some fragments on south/west sides of mountain island)
-crash zone (near Aurora thrusters, possible to find fragments safely if you approach thrusters along the port side hull)

I don't believe that you searched the whole crag field biome without unlocking engine blueprint...

Also there are no warpers in crag field

Same for mountains: there are so many engine fragment slots there that you cannot search the whole biome without unlocking the blueprint
