So basically I was doing something stupid by destroying all of my vehicles and reloading the save and I went to the crash zone mesas when a Reaper Leviathan clipped through the ground be since i was grappled onto him he started shaking wildly and eventually stopped then when I was able to move again while still grappled to him I found the best mobility glitch ever letting me move at the speed of a Reaper in my prawn

No. There’s no resources gained from it. Leviathans can be avoided or their damage mitigated without killing.

It’s best imo to take the seamoth (with max depth upgrade) down first to collect resources to make depth upgrades for the cyclops and prawn, but everyone has their own way of approaching the game.
The seamoth (900m max depth) can go to most places in the LR, just as long as you’re careful. You can grab nickel and crystalline sulfur, but it helps a lot to be prepared, like having the reinforced dive suit, medkits, and so forth

nickel likes to hang out around/in the brine so the prawn is pretty helpful. i personally prefer to avoid taking extra trips, that trek back and forth to your pod can often be tedious

I don't recognize the wreck, but many wrecks have multiple entrances. They can be doors (normal with yellow handle, need repair tool, or need laser cutter), holes, or air ventilation tubes. Sometimes when inside the wreck you need to swim through sort of maze-like ventilation tube to get to another room.

Probably not. The best way I see to remove them is to regenerate the area around the Cyclops.
Here comes the technical bit:

• Get close to them, press F1 note the batch index.
• Quit your current world and remove CellsCache/baked-batch-cells-XX-gpr0.zip/baked-batch-cells-XX-YY-ZZ.bin with the save batch index you noted. Do it while the game is launched and you're still in the main menu.

Your save on Steam is in the game's folder. Right click in the Steam library, properties, installed files, browse.

Then SNAppData/SavedGames/slot00xx.

Make sure the game is launched and you're in the main menu to prevent Steam cloud to overwrite the file once you remove it.

guys i managed to softlock myself and i dont like the feel of original subnautica because its alot more dark in a way i guess you could say but i softlocked myself by this time REALLY harvesting all the safe shallow/grassy plateu resources

and im too scared to go in the aurora because of the crash zone is dark waters and i cant see

and i have thallasophobia so should i buy below zero

How exactly did you softlock yourself? It's very difficult to make a softlock by not having resources, since there are so much of them...

There are dark zones in BZ as well, but on the whole it’s less scary than SN. I usually describe it as “cozier”: biomes are smaller (but deeper), and there’s more bioluminescence so there’s relatively few truly dark spots.

and i genuinely depleted all the resources

You need to scan mobile vehicle bay fragments, which are found in kelp forest and inside wrecks in grassy plateaus

so first you need to find fragments for the mobile vehicle bay. craft it in fabricator. than find fragments for seamoth which are near wrecks and stuff
