also i think the cyclops is supposed to have significantly more powerful floodlights than the seaglides flashlight lol

It’s not that things are dark, I get that (like in the blood kelp trench). It’s that when they’re turned on, they just light up the water, not the terrain they’re pointing at.

Just the main lights, by the way. The camera lights don’t do this.

you die, but there is a 10s delay between the moment where its health hits 0 and the moment when it explodes that you can use to escape

Anything built inside stays in the wreck and can be deconstructed. Some amount of scrap and computer chips will be scattered around the wreck.

Also, if you close the main bulkhead prior to engine detonation, you will be ejected through the windshield damaged but alive as opposed to instantly dead

also as for the sea dragon question from earlier, as with all vehicles, hostile creatures wont initiate an aggro on them if they are not running (for the cyclops engine off, for the seamoth and prawn you have to be out of them). they have to finish their aggro cycle before they dont attack
additionally, moving far enough away from the vehicle will disable it, essentially making it immune. i think the distances are different for each vehicle and its not a viable way to stop damage since those distances are far enough that normal movement wont get you out of range before that damage happens
more importantly, if a hostile creature wanders into the vehicle it probably will attack it just for being there. theyre not specifically attacking it, theyre just attacking what they bumped into

Get a propulsion cannon and and a laser cutter, then you can go to the broken end of the aurora and get everything inside, all of the codes for doors are in the crews PDAs

They can damage, but need several attacks fast to cause hull breach. Same for crabsquids. So one usually isn't a threat, but a pack can be.

Technically eggs don't have it, but every spawned creature has a chance to have it. Even if you have only healthy fish in acu, when they breed the offspring can be infected, and the infection spreads quite fast in acu and aquarium. You can put an enzyme peeper in to help.

It will, but you can move a bit before shutting it off, repairing, and moving again. You’ll get out eventually.
